Test Driving Davinci Resolve 12.5
I am a very basic editor at best. I have used After Effects, Premier Pro and mostly Final Cut Pro X. I have been wanting to try out Davinci Resolve for some time and had it on my computer for about a year but did not touch it.................until today.
I had 2 drone videos shot in 4K D-Log that I rendered at 1080 and used Davinci Resolve for all aspects of editing, Media, Edit, Color and Deliver. The audio was done in Davinci Resolve too.
Overall, I like it and just have to get use to it. My color correction skills still need to be honed but honestly, my D-Log files were extremely flat so I've come a long way.
I think I want to do more projects in Davinci Resolve 12.5
