Are camcorders any good for YouTube?
So you wanna YouTube but all you can afford is a second hand, 3 year old 4k camcorder?
Let's see they are any good.
Mr. Matsuno ( https://www.instagram.com/mattyan44/ ) borrowed one of my tripods so I borrowed his Sony 3+ year old 4k camcorder (I forget what exact model it is but all Sony stabilized 4k camcorders these days are the same)
I actually have a lot more footage than I could fit in 7 minutes this week so I'll be using it as filler in future videos where I can't get enough footage for a 7D7M.
One thing to note. DaVinci resolve (and my computer) really doesn't handle 4k XAVCS (Sony codec) well. Overall edit time on this vid was 3 times longer with all the lagging, crashing and whatnot. Hence This video is our 3 days later than I intended to put it out.
