According to veteran political strategist Pat Caddell, appearing on Breitbart News Daily, the Associated Press deliberately announced prematurely that Hillary Clinton had finally gained the Democrat presidential nomination before polls had closed in California, thereby suppressing the Bernie vote in that state. “It was a purposefully irresponsible act, in my opinion,” said Caddell. “It’s beyond irresponsible to the Nth degree. It affects the vote.” “You put your thumb on the scales, knowing everyone will report it. “The AP was once the great … essentially unbiased, news-gathering organization around the world.“ Bernie Sanders campaign spokesperson Michael Briggs said in a statement: "Secretary Clinton does not have and will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to secure the nomination.” “She will be dependent on superdelegates who do not vote until July 25 and who can change their minds between now and then.” “They include more than 400 superdelegates who endorsed Secretary Clinton 10 months before the first caucuses and primaries and long before any other candidate was in the race." Pat Caddell also talked about the one-sided coverage the MSM has given to Donald Trump. “…they go after Donald Trump for everything. I’m for candidates being vetted. What I’m against is when one candidate is vetted, and the other candidate is not covered at all, basically.” Caddell quoted an unnamed friend of his is the news business: “My God, to enter the newsrooms at the New York Times and the Washington Post is to enter a freaking jihad against Donald Trump.” I’m still reporting from Washington. What Donald Trump is good at is blasting open nuggets of truth that have been hidden by layers of political correctness. He goes where no one else dares to tread. Opening up the immigration question may indeed be Trump’s most important contribution to American freedom. So what to do? First of all, devising an effective plan is easy, but implementing it will take a type of courage and determination we’ve seen precious little of recently. Fortunately, us baby boomers still remember our parents’ overwhelming spirit of self-sacrifice which defeated the Nazis. And sacrifice is what it will take to make this happen. So really, it’s on my generation to lead. A million Americans have sacrificed their lives to defend a cause – the cause of human freedom. Let’s not be the generation that drops the ball - so let’s roll. First of all, how did it get to this point? In our defense, we’ve never had a president working against us before. The main problem is that 90% of the American population still can’t believe it’s true. Every day the media excuses his behavior as: “He’s weak” “He’s deluded” “He’s confused” He’s incompetent” He’s none of those things. He wears that Islamic gold ring for a reason. Every time he signs a new presidential proclamation, that gold ring touches his pen. History will show that he knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and he’s still doing it with great skill and effectiveness -- in perfect accord with the deceptive guidelines of Islam. Ironically, his greatest supporters – the Democrats – have – and will yet suffer the most political damage. Anyone within close political proximity to this president will be marked long into the future. The good news is that the American republic was waaayyy stronger than he anticipated. We will survive this president. So here are 5 logical steps - a first stab at needed reforms: #1. Congressional legislation to make Sharia law illegal and branded as prime-facia evidence of insurrection with the consequence of deportation. If there is a sizeable, sincere body of Muslims who will not put Sharia law above the laws of this land – who will stand against political conquest by terror – who will stand up holding American flags in the streets, I have not seen them. At this point, there is only overwhelming evidence that Islam is not a religion of peace, but merely a system of political conquest disguised as a religion. No matter what, violent insurrection can never fit within the framework of our Constitution. 16 states have passed such legislation at the state level. Here’s the list: Notice that Alabama voters even overwhelmingly passed it as an amendment to the state’s constitution. So #1 undercuts the roots of the invasion; now, let’s cut off the immediate source with: #2. An immediate halt to all un-vettable immigration, regardless of religion or national origin. Exceptions based on religious persecution or genocide will remain, but even then, ongoing evidence of being on a track to legal citizenship must be maintained -- or accelerated deportation to country of origin will result. #3. Send informers into all mosques, and close those which preach violence or resisting inculturation. “Failure to assimilate” should become tantamount to treason. #4. Do not allow the establishment of “no-go” cities or zones within cities. This must become illegal and those who resist will face charges of “failure to assimilate” and if convicted, an accelerated deportation process. And finally, #5. Accelerated deportation for all those un-vetables who slipped into the country before we established a proper security safety net, regardless of religion or nationality. Ameliorating factors would be getting on and maintaining a legal path to U.S. Citizenship. We must get tough - make it clear that assimilation into the American system of the rule of our laws -- within the bounds of our Constitution -- is imperative to being allowed to live here.
