Question: @opie7afe - i've come to the point where i am confused with all the different types of primer, i'm working on painting the whole front end of my car which is a single stage white toyota, and planning on sticking with some urethane single stage paint. however the panels i am painting have factory paint (one is base/clear other is single stage. both parts will have some bare metal showing so i'm stuck on what primer to get, hoping i can get away with just one type of primer..please enlighten me! thanks!
If you are wanting one primer, the direct to metal may be the way to go. Check with your paint jobber to see if they carry one.
