FPV ZMR 250 mod - how to stop breaking your VTX (+ bonus review)
After breaking my VTX several times, I decided to install a small pigtail on my ZMR 250 frame. If your frame doesn't already have such a thing - I'd strongly recommend it, as it move the impact away from the delicate SMA connector on the VTX to the skew or the pigtail.
If you want to get yourself a bignose13 skew or pigtail, just post in this thread -
Quite a random bunch of video on here, but hopefully catches the spirit of the day: lots of good people, lots of chat... some flying :)
We had great fun with a few events this time, the best of the bunch was the speed race - 2 laps around a tight circuit and fastest cumulative takes it. Ratty has gathered all the ground recordings of this, and has made a great video... watch it here http://youtu.be/tBkIPxJobBk
I came last... my AXN is lacking in the speed department. On the plus side, because of a few crashes, equipment failures, a few people not being able to make it and the general feeling that people would go 10km+, my 2.4km actually won the longest distance competition. Happy days

This is the ending from the SNES version of Starfox(US) or Starwing(UK), it's taken from a run through of the Hard route... though I can't remember if that's actually any different from the other difficulties.

I went out and maidened this wing in high winds, and although it flew fine, it was very difficult to tell if the iNav tuning had really done its best job. So just before I actually remove the analog FPV system and replace it with Open.HD I thought I'd go out in much more suitable conditions to see how it flies, redo the autotune and take it for a longer flight or two.

This is the ending to "Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts" on the Xbox 360. It's quite an old game, and I bought it cheap several years ago, but never got around to finishing it as I didn't really like it.
So I made a bit of an effort to clear some of the half finished games I had on the shelf, and so managed to make a bit of effort into finishing this off.
I tend to think it would be a good game if you are into the building vehicles aspect of it. I'm not, I just want to get on with it. If you are then you can build and rebuild to your hearts content and come up with some really funky cars and stuff.
Happily for me, the top ten times for each stage have a replay on the leaderboard and sometimes these people allow their vehicle to be shared. Although I could do the last stage with a vehicle I designed, it wasn't fast enough to complete the game, so I downloaded a blueprint from the 8th fastest person. Of course, then I had to spend another 5 hours or so back on the game earning all the parts I needed to build it.
Something odd about this ending, it doesn't start showing the credits, but instead just goes back to the title screen. You can see the credits, but have to view them seperately as an option from the title screen,

I actually remembered the right adapter for my dominators today, so these are some clips from my first KK2 FPV flights. Although I did do some speedy and high flying today, the thing that the KK2 is letting me do is fly much more precisely, so there's lots of slow flying in the clips today.
Aside form the KK2, this is my first go with the PZ0420 cameraI got from SecurityCamera2000. Which is leaps and bounds above the $17 Hk camera. Basically I can see whats going on in different light levels - which is a huge step up.
If I was to nit-pick on the KK2, it's only problem so far is a slow waggle you can pick up in some of the video which I think is it's heading-hold working. Frankly the is the least of my issues in camera shakeyness. The Tri is rock-solid, it's actually the camera platform that's moving too much and creating the shake - so I need to look at that some more

Covering quite a lot in this video - although all linked to getting this quad flying nicer.
What I really like about FPV is the community, it's very open and filled with people who really want to help you - what a lovely bunch you all are :) I should have really also offered my thanks to the guys pushing the firmware updates like Hydra and BorisB - belated thanks
Had lots of fun in the bit of flying I did (about 5 lipos) not so much fun wondering around a muddy field for an hour trying to find my mobius... I must get one of those bright orange RunCam2's or something
The stuff I couldn't remember in which I keep my mobius wedge on (and use to hold the escs in place) is called rapstrap and is really great (much better/nicer than cable ties) for holding things in place

HappyModel were the first to market for commercial ELRS gear, so let's test something tiny. It's a testament to the idea of ELRS that, in this video, I'm using a TBS radio a Namimno module, and a HappyModel receiver, and everything plays nicely together.
This receiver was kindly supplied by YourFPV for review, so please take a look at their website if you are in the market for some gear.
You can see the HappyModel receivers here https://yourfpv.co.uk/product/happymodel-2-4ghz-expresslrs-rx/
The Mambo product range here https://yourfpv.co.uk/?product_cat=&s=mambo&post_type=product
and the Namimno gear here https://yourfpv.co.uk/?product_cat=&s=namimno&post_type=product
...as the Namimno module was supplied by Banggood I should also point to non UK buyers that you can find them via this lovely affiliate link here:
