I'm one of the road testers for the Zero Gecko Starter Kit. I'll test the device in combination with the TI/element14 Fuel Tank booster pack.
While waiting for the kit to arrive, I've been bodging together a test device.
The booster pack has a battery monitoring gauge that is i2c enabled. You can ask the gauge what the status of the battery is.
So I have made a monitoring gig with an Arduino and an LCD screen.
Each 2 seconds the device will ask the Fuel tank how much current the battery is delivering. That info is shown on the LCD and in a logging screen.
