Kerbal Space Program - Yet Another Musical Collection Of Crashes
Once again, I need to make room on my Hard Disk by deleting all my unused footage, which means I get to go through and find all the crashes where things went wrong. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCRg-_ie3Fs

In the last few days a paper from the NASA Eagleworks team experimenting with the EM Drive has cleared peer review and been published. Does this really mean that one day we'll be using this technology to drive spacecraft?

Recorded live on Tuesday night, an extended play session. I head west in search of water, I expand my production facilities and our colonists mourn the passing of a colonist due to old age.

Astronomers have a hard time communicating the scale of the universe, with objects being so far away it's common to bring things down to Earth to make it easier for the general public to grasp.
It's a lot easier to imaging the size of a space rock if you compare it to a city, or a white dwarf compared to the Earth or sun.
I imagine the consequences if these objects were really moved this close together.
Universe Sandbox 2 lets me simulate some of these with glorious graphical destruction.

The Interplanetary Lab took ages to accelerate into it's Jool trajectory, and as such it took an age to slow down again, and that's before we perform all those critical maneuvers to get into orbit around Jools moons. So many more hours of recording maneuvering to get into Jool's orbit, and many more ahead.
Good thing I can play Crusader Kings II in the background.

Another selection of news stories from the last couple of weeks, beyond all the rocket launches who can honestly say they were expecting BTS to be beamed from the Moon?
