In this video series, I use materials gathered from Native American campsites (in central Texas) to reproduce some points that have been found in the area. It was a very good experience that revealed a lot about the materials that were actually gathered and utilized by the Indians. The material seemed to be either very easy or very difficult to work with. All the pieces were previously worked to some extent. In my opinion, the good material was cached and the difficult material was discarded. They two types became mixed very recently when found and gathered together to form a collection of bifaces and cores.
