I got a Novarossi P5 for my XB808. Do these engines take a standard size or a turbo plug?
I have also now ordered replacement gaskets, new fuel line, starter box and an air filter :)

First run with my Savage XS Flux RTR since i have rebuilt it. The truck itself held up well with no issues. The suspension is still very soft for the weight of the truck, even with its small size this truck is pretty heavy.
The X-Team ESC and Surpass Rocket 3900KV motor seem to be much smoother than the Arrma BLX100 and GoolRC 4300KV motor that i am running in my XS SS. There is some very mild cogging at very low speed, but it is pretty good overall. The temperatures also stayed fine.
There were 2 small issues on this run, firstly the fan died on the esc, second the motor wires came out a couple of times.

Recently i have picked up some local deals from ebay. A HPI Savage X 4.6 and a Hobao Hyper 7 PBS. Both of them seem to be in good condition, but they clearly haven't been used in a very long time, so over the next few videos i will be stripping them down and restoring them to full working order.
In this first Part, i am starting work on the savage. I will have to buy some parts to make these models ARTR or RTR. Hopefully the final video will be them both up and running. I may also do a comparison between the Savage and the Hyper MT as well as a comparison between the Hyper 7 PBS and my Xray XB808.
