We're cleaning house, folks! We grew really fast in 2018. We are currently scaling back and "breaking up" with mean, non-profitable, or scammy ex-customers so we can focus on preserving more of our internal resources for our long-term bread-and-butter clients. This is a small, selective store. That is what I want. I do not want to be a behemoth of a brand that sells to everyone on the web. There are a lot of weirdos and demanding drama queens out there on the interwebs. We reserve the right to give them the boot! Please expect some of these folks to make a lot of noise on review sites and social for the next couple of months. This is part of why I want to disclose what's going on. These kinds of people almost never leave without throwing very visible tantrums on their way out the door. We're breaking up with these folks, so some are bound to take it personally. We're a private company. I can always decide to decline someone's business if they treat us like crap or refuse to follow our policies, or if they "game" us so we lose money. There is no law that we have to suck up to people who abuse me, my staff, or my store's resources. Also, when folks criticize me, they often resort to calling me "unprofessional" because of my candor, passion, and tone. This is intentional. This is who I am. It is not an act. IRL, I am a very intense, highly self-motivated kind of gal. Bring a problem to my attention and I will act quickly and decisively to fix it, even if people don't always like how I handle it. It's my life and my store. I am going to choose to make this the kind of experience I can enjoy. I built this entire company to tell it like it is about the wig biz.
