Chapter 6:7. The War in Flesh.  Within us all resides influences from both the Angelic realm, and the Sitra Ahra.  Above in the Yetzirah energetic realms, their differences keep them apart, and unable to create balance (peace).  Here, in the physical world (Malkhut), being clothed in forms (letters), opposites can approach one another, and thus we have wars.  Yet, there is also the opportunity to create peace (Oseh Shalom).  Unity exists only in the domain where unity can be experienced.  Where unity cannot be experienced, the experience of unity must be pursued.  And this is why we have a physical universe.  For until there is unity here below, the unity of above will not be complete.   Related course: Etz Hayim (Tree of Life) by R.
