So after watching Dave Jones over at the EEVBLOG build something similar I decided to take my own jab at designing and programming a nixie clock from scratch (well mostly other than a few power supply modules bought off ebay). The biggest takeaway is I need to more carefully consider power supply dissipation and order obsolete, critical parts well in advance.
