We're gate guarding in a snow storm! Up in Colorado, this is new to us since we've always done gate guard jobs down in Texas. We currently have about 8" of the powdery substance that fell from the heavens and aside from gloves that aren't the proper attire (more are currently on order), we're doing ok. Staying warm and relatively dry. This video was from yesterday, Sunday and today is Monday. We'll see what it brings as far as traffic. The weekend during this snow storm was relatively slow.
Finally arriving in Quartzsite, setting up camp in Quartzsite, AZ. Because we drove in so late the night before we needed to unhook the truck and go get propane, come back and set things up since we'll be here for the next month. It's all our daily life of being full-time rv'rs, when we roll in to a new campground. We've got to get propane, set the landing gear blocks and legs, hook up the sewer, electric and water lines, wash all the road grime off the motorhome and truck, pop on the window shades and spruce up the camp spot if needed. After all, this is home for the next month, it needs to be welcoming! In this video we also needed to repair the roof seam that came apart. Our motorhome is a 1995 and so things need fixing from time to time.

On our way back from Lake Havasu back to Quartzsite we say the aftermath of a pretty scary car, truck and RV wreck. Not sure if anyone was hurt, hope not but it didn't look good.

We arrived last night at our Christmas job in San Marcos, CA. Caije meets his first Christmas tree becoming fast friends, loving to run free in the lot before we open. Puppies are entertaining! We are wishing all our subscribers a Happy Thanksgiving and hope that everyone has lots of love and full bellies!

#EconomicRefugeesRV Mr. Fish - Yuma, AZ is a must stop for us when we are in Yuma or coming back from Mexico at least once while we're in Quartzsite every year. It's got the BEST fish and chips and shrimp and deep fried zuchinni sticks! Even Bill, who 'hates fish' loves Mr. Fish! Be sure and give it a try. We met Nate whose family has been running the establishment since 2006. Nice guy, thanks for letting us feature your family's business, Nate!
Thanks for watching!

Spartan Chassis brake shoes and drums replacement on our 1995 Holiday Rambler Imperial motorhome. We were referred by our good friend to a great mechanic, VICTOR CORDOVA DIESEL in Phoenix. He is a star in our minds because he charged a fair price and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with his work. Now we can drive the distance to the YouTube gathering at Ironwood in Tucson and then travel back to Arkansas without having to worry about brakes and drums that are fried. If you missed it, when we were traveling to Quartzsite for the Big Tent RV Show, a brake canister locked up and we almost burned down our home on wheels. Bill replaced those but the drums and shoes were shot from how hot things got. Victor was wonderful and we can't recommend him enough. If you're ever in the area and need help with your diesel truck or motorhome, give him a call! His contact information is below. Thank you, VICTOR CORDOVA DIESEL!
