This is the small, Non Closing JCPenney in the Eastridge Mall, still not closing in 2021! Let's see what it has to offer! ?? History/Time Stamps ?? Casper's first JCP opened as the Golden Rule at 125 E 2nd St in 1926. It would rebrand to J. C. Penney Company in 1932 before then relocating to a brand new building a couple blocks away in the early 1940s to what is now the Atrium Plaza. Much like other cities in the 70s and 80s, indoor shopping malls were BOOMING, leading to JCPenney relocating a third time to the Eastridge Mall, not to be confused with Eastridge Malls outside of Casper, WY.
