Minneapolis and Hennepin County officials are spending at least $1 million to put up barriers and barbed wire for the trial of former officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd.
News2Share contributor Chris Juhn captured raw footage of the area around Hennepin County Government Center on Sunday.
Chauvin faces a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison. Jury selection begins Monday, and protests are expected.

Today the Yellow Vests entered their 14th weekend of fighting police, which they called "Acte XIV: Insurrection."
The activists traveled for miles, encountering tear gas along the way.
The majority of the fighting occurred at the Les Invalides, where a tear gas deployment escalated into dozens of people throwing fragments of bricks at police, who responded by gassing the entire park.

Last night, the Community Oversight Board of the State College Police Department at Penn state held a forum addressing October 24's violence on campus amidst the "Uncensored America" event that had been planned.
"Protecting a protesting crowd is about property," said Vice Chair Barrett Marshall, who does not work for the PD.
State College PD Chief John Gardner responded, calling it "ridiculous" that his department values property over human life.
"Those four individuals," he describes the masked men on campus who used mace, "They were identified by the FBI."
"That particular night, I was advised that they were stopped and identified by the FBI, is what I heard," Gardner told News2Share after about the masked men, one of whom maced PSU students last week.
"I heard that through other channels," he clarified.

Saraya al-Quds - the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad - held an armed march Saturday night in Khan Yunis (Southern Gaza Strip) following the Israeli killings of three Palestinians in an apparent shootout south of Jenin in the West Bank. The events represent a clear escalation of tensions in the region.
"Our message to the Zionist enemy is that we have increased our readiness based on the instructions of [Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)] Commander Ziyad al-Nakhalah," one Al-Quds militant told News2Share's freelance videographer.
"If the attacks continue, and our people are subjected to harassment in the West Bank and in the city of Jenin, then Al-Quds Brigades will have their say. Al-Quds Brigades only speak by firing guns and missiles," he said.
Al-Nakhalah said in a brief press statement: “In light of the storming of Jenin camp by the Zionist enemy army, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement announces the general mobilization of the Al-Quds Brigades in all their locations.”
