Jammu and Kashmir as we know from our school days is the "Indian Version". Indians have been maintaining this since 1948
India was granted independence by Britain under an act called the INDIA INDEPENDENCE Act of 1947. Some of the salient elements of this act were that:
1) The subcontinent of India would be given independence on August 15th 1947.
Independence would mean that the British Raj will be terminated on the midnight of August 15th 1947.
2) The sub-continent would be divided primarily into two dominions INDIA and Pakistan
3) The princely states ( which were governed by the Maharajas viz Wodeyars) would have the option to either join India or Pakistan or remain free without joining any of the dominions.
After Independence the Dogra ruler of JnK, Maharaja Hari Singh exercising the third clause of the Independence Act decided to remain independent without joining either of the new dominions.

The KALI (Kilo Ampere Linear Injector) is a linear electron accelerator being developed in India by the Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). But here in India , we have those men who not only live higher than that , but they also fight here. Mesmerizing , isn’t it ? But equally treacherous.
At ‘Saicher Gharni’ ( that’s the original name for Siachen ) , the bullets and guns are not your enemy , the nature is ! The biggest bane for soldiers who live there is the ever-changing nature and its calamities. Low oxygen levels , high blood pressure , bone-chilling cold takes it toll on the limit of human body where you have to fight for the ultimate survival whether the attack is from the enemy or from the nature.

A missile defence system is intended to act as a shield against incoming ballistic missiles. The Russian-built S-400 Triumf — identified by NATO as the SA-21 Growler — is the world’s most dangerous operationally deployed modern long-range surface-to-air missile system, and is considered much more effective than the Terminal High Altitude Area Defence system developed by the US. The S-400 is a mobile system that integrates a multifunction radar, autonomous detection and targeting systems, anti-aircraft missile systems, launchers, and a command and control centre. It can be deployed within five minutes, and is capable of firing three types of missiles to create a layered defence. It can engage all types of aerial targets including aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and ballistic and cruise missiles within a range of 400 km, at an altitude up to 30 km. It can simultaneously track 100 airborne targets, including super fighters such as the US-built F-35, and engage six of them at the same time.

Two weeks after the Pulwama terror attack, India on Tuesday crossed over Line of Control (LoC) and destroyed the JeM, LeT and Hizbul Mujahideen training camps at around 3:30 am. The Indian Air Force (IAF) used 12 Mirage aircraft and dropped 1000 kilograms of bombs on the terror launch pads across the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The last time IAF crossed the LoC and used the Mirage aircraft was during the 1971 . Even during the 1999 Kargil yudh, the IAF had not crossed over to the LoC. Today, IAF did not just strike sites at Chikoti and Muzaffarabad close to the LoC, it also went deep inside the Pakistani territory to destroy the terror launch pads i.e., Balakot sector. In other words, India not just crossed LoC, it attacked Pakistan.
Pakistan on Tuesday claimed that IAF fighter jets crossed the LoC and returned after the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) scrambled waplanes. Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asif Ghafoor tweeted early Tuesday and Radio
