Yoav is a long-standing MRA. He is the chairmen of the Israeli Lobby for Men and Boys as well as a member of a director board of two Israeli fathers' NGO where he manages the research and information department campaigning for the rights of men and boys in the country. Except for his activity in the lobby and the NGOs, Yoav focuses mainly on the academic field and is currently researching feminism, gynocentrism, and misandry as well as female sexual and domestic violence against men. Yoav is also an active lecturer in the field of gender studies for men focusing on critical research of feminism as well as misandry and gynocentrism and has studies group in Israel.
Based on Gnostic Maneachean heritage, Bogomil dualists in the Balkans were intent on spreading their heretical, misandrist and extremely gynocentric teachings world-wide, and this period saw increased contacts with the West including Italy, France, and Germany. The spread of Bogomilism to Aquitaine was thus both likely and possible and appears to have had great success as it created the ideals of courtly love, the phenomenon of the Troubadours, the tenets of modern classic Gynocentrism spread by Troubadours under the royal protection of queen Eleanor and subsequently the modern-day feminism and its misandry.
This video is one of 120 videos published for the sixth International Conference on Men's Issues (2020), a conference originally planned for Sydney, Australia, but later turned into a virtual conference due to Covid-19.
From #metoo to the American Psychological Association’s guidelines pathologizing “masculinity” as harmful, to Gillette’s razor adverts blaming all men for the actions of a damaged few, ideologically motivated groups have used unchallenged narratives of female victimhood to promote damaging stereotypes about men and boys, masculinity and men’s relationships to each other.
More than ever before, recognition of men’s issues is needed. Men and boys deserve compassion, they deserve consideration for their unique needs, and they deserve our support.
Men and boys also deserve respect for their unique contributions to society and an end to the promotion of unkind stereotyping of being harmful, abusive, toxic, selfish and hateful. We would not tolerate this stereotyping directed towards any other group.
We are in an era of unprecedented ideological conflict. By reducing men’s ability to take a positive identity from their masculinity we are encouraging young men to pursue ever more radical ideologies to find a place to belong. In turn we are also encouraging young women to embrace an identity as society’s victims rather than its equal co-creators.
The inaugural conference was held in 2014, and since 2016 the conference has been held annually:

This video was drawn from the end of an episode of BBC News at Ten. It follows time-honoured feminist narratives on FGM. It conflates FGM with forced marriage, and starting at 2:52 there's an outright lie - 'In these deeply traditional, patriarchal communities, away from the big cosmopolitan cities, many men still demand that women are cut.'
Wherever it is carried out, FGM is performed at the behest of women, and almost always BY women. Men don't demand that women are cut. You have to wonder if the Maasai warrior interviewed at the end is curious about why MGM continues unchallenged. He's surely a victim of the butchery himself.
The pretext for the piece was a report by the United Nations, the body (along with the WHO) sponsoring the circumcision of 20 million men in sub-Saharan Africa, in a futile (possibly even counter-productive) bid to halt the spread of AIDS.
