If you open up propresenter and the output is on your control screen, instead of the projector, how do you fix it? Try these steps.

The first thing to check is in System preferences. Are there multiple monitors showing connected to the computer. If you don't see the arrangement tab, stop there and investigate the connections to the external displays.
