Aflibercept injection is used to treat wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD; an ongoing disease of the eye that causes loss of the ability to see straight ahead and may make it more difficult to read, drive, or perform other daily activities).
It is also used to treat macular edema after retinal vein occlusion (an eye disease caused by blockage of blood flow from the eye that leads to blurry vision and vision loss), diabetic macular edema (an eye disease caused by diabetes that can lead to vision loss), and diabetic retinopathy (damage to the eyes caused by diabetes).
Aflibercept injection is also used to treat retinopathy of prematurity (ROP; an eye disease that occurs in premature infants that can lead to vision loss and blindness).
Aflibercept injection is in a class of medications called vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A) and placental growth factor (PlGF) antagonists.
It works by stopping abnormal blood vessel growth and leakage in the eye(s) that may cause vision loss in people with certain eye conditions.
How to use Aflibercept injection?
Aflibercept injection comes as a solution (liquid) to be injected into the eye by a doctor. It is usually given in a doctor's office or healthcare facility.
Your doctor will give you injections on a schedule that is best for you and your condition.
Before you receive an aflibercept injection, your doctor will clean your eye to prevent infection and numb your eye to reduce discomfort during the injection.
After your injection, your doctor will need to examine your eyes before you leave the office.
Aflibercept injection controls certain eye conditions, but does not cure them. Your doctor will watch you carefully to see how well aflibercept injection works for you.
Talk to your doctor about how long you should continue treatment with aflibercept injection.
When to use Aflibercept injection?
Before receiving aflibercept injection:
tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to aflibercept, any other medications, or any of the ingredients in aflibercept injection. A
tell your doctor and pharmacist what other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take.

How to use Amiloride?
Amiloride comes as a tablet to take by mouth.
It usually is taken once a day with food.
To help you remember to take amiloride, take it around the same time every day.

Flexeril is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain, injury, or spasms.
Flexeril may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Warnings.
You should not use Flexeril if you have a thyroid disorder, heart block, congestive heart failure, a heart rhythm disorder, or you have recently had a heart attack.
Do not use cyclobenzaprine if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days, such as isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, or tranylcypromine.
Before taking this medicine.
You should not use Flexeril if you are allergic to cyclobenzaprine, or if you have:
a thyroid disorder;
heart block, heart rhythm disorder, congestive heart failure; or
if you have recently had a heart attack.
Flexeril is not approved for use by anyone younger than 15 years old.
Do not use Flexeril if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, and tranylcypromine.
Some medicines can interact with cyclobenzaprine and cause a serious condition called serotonin syndrome. Be sure your doctor knows if you also take stimulant medicine, opioid medicine, herbal products, or medicine for depression, mental illness, Parkinson's disease, migraine headaches, serious infections, or prevention of nausea and vomiting. Ask your doctor before making any changes in how or when you take your medications.
To make sure Flexeril is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had:
liver disease;
glaucoma;
enlarged prostate; or
problems with urination.
It is not known whether cyclobenzaprine will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
It may not be safe to breast-feed while using this medicine. Ask your doctor about any risk.
Older adults may be more sensitive to the effects of this medicine.
How should I take Flexeril? .
Flexeril is usually taken once daily for only 2 or 3 weeks. Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose.

What to avoid.
Avoid driving or hazardous activity until you know how cyclobenzaprine will affect you. Your reactions could be impaired.

Flexeril side effects.
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Flexeril: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Flexeril and call your doctor at once if you have:

sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body), slurred speech, balance problems.

Diazepam comes as a tablet, a solution, and as a concentrate (liquid) to take by mouth. It is usually taken 1 to 4 times a day and may be taken with or without food.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.
Take diazepam exactly as directed.
Diazepam concentrate comes with a specially marked dropper for measuring the dose.
Ask your pharmacist to show you how to use the dropper.
Dilute the concentrate in water, juice, or carbonated beverages just before taking it.
It also may be mixed with applesauce or pudding just before taking the dose. Stir the mixture gently for a few seconds.
Take the entire mixture immediately; do not store it for future use.
If you are taking diazepam along with other medications to control seizures, do not stop taking diazepam without talking to your doctor, even if you experience side effects such as unusual changes in behavior or mood.
If you suddenly stop taking diazepam, your seizures may get worse. Your doctor will probably decrease your dose gradually.
When to take diazepam?
Before taking diazepam:
tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to diazepam, alprazolam (Xanax), chlordiazepoxide (Librium, in Librax), clonazepam (Klonopin), clorazepate (Gen-Xene, Tranxene), estazolam, flurazepam, lorazepam (Ativan), oxazepam, temazepam (Restoril), triazolam (Halcion), any other medications, or any of the ingredients in diazepam products.
tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, and nutritional supplements, you are taking.
tell your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis (a disorder of the nervous system that causes muscle weakness), sleep apnea (condition in which a person briefly stops breathing many times during the night), or lung or liver disease.
Also, tell your doctor if you have narrow angle glaucoma (a serious eye condition that may cause loss of vision. Your doctor will probably tell you not to take diazepam. Diazepam should not be used in infants younger than 6 months of age.
tell your doctor if you have or have ever had open-angle glaucoma (increase in internal eye pressure that damages the optic nerve); depression or other mental illness; seizures; or heart disease.
tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. If you become pregnant while taking diazepam, call your doctor immediately.
tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding. Do not breastfeed while you are taking diazepam.
talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking diazepam if you are 65 years of age or older. Older adults should not usually take diazepam because it is not as safe as other medications that can be used to treat the same conditions.
if you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking diazepam.
you should know that this drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
you should know that your mental health may change in unexpected ways and you may become suicidal (thinking about harming or killing yourself or planning or trying to do so) while you are taking diazepam for the treatment of epilepsy.
What side effects can Diazepam cause?
Diazepam may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
drowsiness.
dizziness.
tiredness.
muscle weakness.
headache.
dry mouth.
nausea.
constipation.
confusion.
difficulty urinating.
frequent urination.
changes in sex drive or ability.
Some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of these symptoms, call your doctor immediately or get emergency medical treatment:
loss of control of bodily movements.
uncontrollable shaking of a part of the body.
slurred speech.
slowed breathing and heartbeat.
Diazepam may cause other side effects. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication.

La dutasterida se usa solo o en combinación con otro medicamento (tamsulosina [Flomax]) para tratar la hiperplasia prostática benigna (HPB; agrandamiento de la próstata).

¿Cuándo tomar dutasterida?
Antes de tomar dutasteride:
informe a su médico y a su farmacéutico si es alérgico al dutasteride, a la finasterida (Propecia, Proscar), a algún otro medicamento o a alguno de los ingredientes en las cápsulas de dutasteride.
informe a su médico y a su farmacéutico qué medicamentos con y sin receta, vitaminas, suplementos nutricionales y productos herbarios está tomando o planea tomar.
informe a su médico si tiene o alguna vez ha tenido alguna enfermedad del hígado o cáncer de próstata.
tenga en cuenta que el dutasterida se utiliza solamente en los hombres.
Las mujeres, especialmente aquellas que están embarazadas o que podrían quedar embarazadas, no deben manipular cápsulas de dutasterida.
tenga en cuenta que no debe donar sangre mientras toma dutasterida y durante 6 meses después de haber dejado de tomar este medicamento.
¿Qué dieta especial debo seguir mientras tomo este medicamento?
Consulte a su médico si puede beber jugo de toronja mientras toma este medicamento.
¿Qué tengo que hacer si me olvido de tomar una dosis?
Si olvida tomar una dosis y lo recuerda el mismo día, tómela tan pronto como se acuerde.
No obstante, si no se acuerda hasta el día siguiente, deje pasar la dosis que olvidó y continúe con su horario de medicación normal.
No tome dos dosis en un día ni tome una dosis doble para compensar la que olvidó.
¿Cuáles son los efectos secundarios que podría provocar dutasterida?
El dutasterida puede provocar efectos secundarios. Informe a su médico si alguno de estos síntomas es intenso o no desaparece:
incapacidad para tener o mantener una erección.
disminución del deseo sexual.
problemas con la eyaculación.
Algunos efectos secundarios pueden ser graves. Si presenta alguno de estos síntomas, llame a su médico de inmediato o pida atención médica de emergencia:
cambios en los senos, como aumento de tamaño, aparición de bultos, dolor o secreción de los pezones.
inflamación de la cara, la lengua o la garganta.
dificultad para respirar o tragar.
descamación de la piel.
Tomar dutasteride puede aumentar el riesgo de que presente cáncer de próstata de grado alto (un tipo de cáncer de próstata que se propaga y crece más rápido que otros tipos de cáncer de próstata).
