In this episode, I take a look at the issue of 'fake news'. We examine a recent InfoWars report on the Florida school shootings and its so called 'crisis-actors', a paper from Data And Society on how political adversaries are using 'fake news' as an epithet to de-legitimise each other's positions, and consider how the latest wave of AI-generated 'deep fakes' could make a bad situation worse.
