The final episode of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. Julia is back on our side and what makes it better is that she inherits the Naga tome. Okay so here's the deal in regards to Julius. Julius is a Level 30 Dark Prince. He has the following stats: 80 HP, 15 STR, 25 MAG, 27 SKL & SPD, 13 LCK, 25 DEF and 35 RES. He has the skills Pursuit, Charge, Wrath and Nihil. He's armed with a Loptous tome and a Meteor tome. The Loptous tome adds +5 Reisstance to Julius and it also halves enemy attack before any defense-related stats are applied. If you plan to take him down with Seliph, you'll need a HIGH amount of resistance to avoid getting wrecked by him. Julia is the best unit to use in dealing with Julius. Armed with the Naga tome, it provides her +20 in Skill, Speed, Defense and Resistance. Plus it negates Loptous's ability to cut enemy attacks by half. Sic Julia into the fight and she'll take him down. That's it. With Julius defeated, the dragon Loptous' takes over Julius. He then curses Naga for bringing ruin to him and warns Seliph that as long as mankind has greed in their hearts, he would return. It's spirit leaves with a roar and fades away completely obliterating him. The war finally ends as Seliph and his many allies work to rebuild the continent of Jugdral leading to an age of glorious prosperity. In turn, Sigurd would be redeemed as a legendary hero as the truth of what happened 18 years ago has been brought to light. This concludes my playthrough of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. My final thoughts are this... it's an awesome game that spreads through two generations. Many of it's gameplay elements would become staples in later entries. It baffles me why this game didn't get released in the 90s and I wish more people got to play it. It was the brainchild of three individuals: Shozou Kaga, director and scenario writer. Yuka Tsujiyoko, composer and the late Gunpei Yokoi as the producer. It wouldn't last as after Thracia 776, the three would head their separate ways. If you haven't played this game, you should. What they end up finding is a massacre. Gospel has struck, slaughtering everyone at Yumland and the worst part is that all of this was done by one Navi. A merciless ninja known as Shadowman.EXE and it's user Dusk. But as Mega Man explores the Square and sees it be completely abandoned, he finds a survivor. Mega is told that Gospel is heading to strike at Electopia. But before Mega can escape, he has to deal with ShadowMan's right hand, CutMan.EXE. CutMan is an annoying fight due to the rock and the rolling cutters. You'll need stronger gear if you are going to have any opportunity or chance to survive. Eventually they take him down and head to the Marine Harbor to warn everyone. In order to have any chance, they need to find something called Change.bat and getting that will require you to be on the move for information. Ultimately it leads us back to Yumland Square. They do take it but have to contend with some trouble. Fortunately Lan's dad was able to install Change.bat on him. But they strike and strike hard forcing Lan and Mega to go on the offensive.
