I don't see this film getting much attention, which is a surprise to be sure. With the cast list it is sporting, NOMIS should be receiving a lot more conversation than it is.
On top of that, consider the plot. This is a very tragic, yet nuanced topic -- one that I would certainly argue needs to be addressed in today's society. So applause to the films for exploring such a story.

But BRIAN BANKS is an especially great fit with Bleecker Street. So this movie, ANTLERS, brings up a lot of thoughts. I like the prospect of a horror film stemming from a short story. And there are elements here that, as a fan of the ambiance and characteristics of some horror films, intrigue me.
However, as you'll note with the special introduction for this trailer reaction, the short story certainly steps into the camp of horror I'm not exactly comfortable with venturing into.
