coordinates the movements of pelvis, trunk, and shoulders for more efficient walking or power walking
This movement involves movements of the shoulder and pelvis in opposite directions. When you pull shoulder and pelvis toward each other, your waist contracts. As they pass by each other, you experience a kind of grinding sensation at the waist. Make the pass very smooth at a uniform speed.
Do one side, then lie on your back and sense the difference between right and left sides.
Now, do your other side.
The Wheels of Synchrony is a good integration move after doing "The Locomotive", a movement for easing sacro-iliac joint pain that works by bringing right-left symmetry to the internal forces of the pelvis that connect legs to trunk.
You do this movement both "clockwise" and "counter-clockwise":
You do one side "clockwise", then turn over and do the other side "counter-clockwise".
You turn over, again, and do the first side "counter-clockwise" and the other side, "clockwise".
