Building a custom DIY Headset Breakout Desktop Extension Box - Lifehack
In this episode of Nerdgasm I show you how to create a Headset breakout box which is a device I came up with to extend the ports from the back of your sound card to a box that that you can place anywhere on your desk to easily plugin headphones and microphones. I created this device because I was sick of climbing behind my computer to plugin my MMX 300 headphones every time I wanted to use them and having the cable be too short to move around with any freedom. Now I simply plug them in to the breakout box I placed under my monitor and it's zero hassle. I hope you find this project useful and build you're own and add your own twists to it! Hey guys, this video is very long so you have been warned. It is footage edited together from my 3-day class at DirtFish Rally School and I tried to cover everything including my class mates so they could enjoy this video also. I left out one small section where we learned pendulum turning but we do enough of that in other areas of the video. I hope you guys enjoy watching me throw around a Subaru WRX STI in the mud. I just had a really rough 2 weeks due to sickness in my house and lots of stuff fell behind but the channel will be getting more regular videos now that everyone is feeling better!
