If it's in a word, or if it's in a book
you can't get rid of the Babadook.
He wears a hat
he's tall and black
but that's how they describe him in his book.
A rumbling sound, than three sharp knocks
you better run, or he'll hold you in his locks.

Your closet opens
and your honestly hopin'

I live in a corrupt country. From Education to health, agriculture, economy, ministry, administration, law and order and what not. The list is huge and its from the very beginning. right after the independence. The sad fact is people are utterly confused, what to do, whom to follow. because whomever they trust, it always betrayed.
“Children living in urban slums are forced to do dangerous and exploitative work without being able to attend school. They face constant threat of eviction, even though they live under the most challenging conditions in ramshackle dwellings and overcrowded settlements that are acutely vulnerable to disease and disaster,” a report states.
“Many of these children grow up in impoverished rural areas where it is common to travel to seek work in order to supplement family income, whether for part of each year, during lean periods or for longer durations. At least four million children are thought to migrate seasonally, whether by themselves or with their families, in India alone.
In eight cities in India from 2005 to 2006 levels of under-nutrition in urban areas continued to be very high. At least a quarter of urban children under five were stunted, indicating that they had been undernourished for some time.
The report notes that adolescent girls and women continue to suffer from discrimination and lack of empowerment in the country as 47 per cent of women are married by the time they turn 18 years old. As per 2010 data used in the report, 22 per cent women in India give birth before they turn 18. Only 41 per cent women initiate early breastfeeding.
In a patriarchal society where women are vulnerable to exploitation and violence, it is hardly surprising that many women justify their husbands beating them. Fifty-four per cent women justify wife beating as against 51 men. The numbers are higher for adolescent males at 57 per cent and 53 per cent for adolescent women.

There were some complaints coming from the medical colleges that some doctors do not visit the hospitals on a regular basis, while some others do not enter the hospitals on time, affecting the health services.
The state Health department has issued a notification, announcing the new duty schedule for doctors at all the medical colleges, mandating the doctors to devote 8 hours per day. The new duty rosters will be corroborated with biometric attendance system, which the state government has proposed to introduce. One of the main objectives is to fix the accountability of the doctors at the state-run hospitals and thereby to ensure better health services to a huge number of patients, who depend on the government establishments.
According to the government notification, the doctors have to devote a minimum of 48 hours in a week. They will be able to avail an off day in a week, as per the roster. The on-call duty of the registered medical officers (RMO) and the junior doctors are, however, not included within the prescribed duty hours. If duty hours are less than 8 hours a day and more than 7 and half hours, it will be marked as half CL (casual leave) for the doctors. If the duty hours are less than 7 and half hours a day, it will be marked as absent.
If there are more than 14 CLs in a year for any individual, they will be adjusted from EL (earned leave). If ELs are exhausted, penalty will be deducted from salary. If a doctor exhausts all his/her leaves, he/she may be deprived of salary. The notification also says that the first shift for doctors will be between 9 am – 5 pm. If a doctor joins duty 15 minutes after the shift starts, he/she will be marked as late and he will be liable to join the next shift starting from 9.30 am. The next shift will start from 10 am and will continue till 6 pm, while the last shift will continue from 11 am to 7 pm.
