It seems Dragon Quest XII will be an action RPG, or at the very least abandoned it's turn based roots. during a recent livestream Dragon Quest series Creator Yuji Horii said they will be abandonding turn based RPGs but said it wouldn't be an action RPG, clarifing later it is going to be accesible to those who aren't accustom to Action RPGs. As time turns more and more games seem to be stepping away from its turn based combat and its hard to see the seriers that was supposed to be immune to it fall victim to.

Welcome to my Retrospective Review of Ys 1. Ys 1 despite its age still holds up significantly well. Its story has aged seeming well considering how long ago this game as been around and you can really see the influence this game had on storytelling in video games especially on the RPG front. Its combat can be a bit rough due to showing its age, but it works well and isn’t something extremely difficult to wrap your head around once you get started. If you looking for a game with an amazing soundtrack look no futher this game is top notch in is music and it really shows making the experince all the more enjoyable. If your on the fence about giving this series a shot the first game is a great place to start, if you’ve played Ys VIII and your want to play Ys games go for it.

The World Ends With You Final Remix, has got a lot of hate for its controls but are the controls as bad as people are making them out to be. They definitley can be a bit irritating at times but I do think they are Manageable. The World Ends Wit You On the Nintendo Switch is still a game I would recommend.
