CZ P-07 Duty Suppressed: shooting w/ a Liberty Mystic silencer
The Liberty Mystic suppressor can be used on a huge range of calibers and firearms, and we'll try to get a bunch of different guns on camera to see what they sound like with the can. In this video, we test out the CZ P-07 Duty. Putting some rounds downrange through the brand new 911 .380 sub-compact from Springfield Armory as well as their new 10mm TRP Operator. Though I still have reservations about Springfield for political reasons, this 911 is a huge hit. The gun is an *amazing* shooter. It's fast, accurate, and flat shooting with a great trigger, great sights, and a very well-paced and perfectly usable safety. They've done a really good job with it and I have zero negative feedback. I'll get my hands on one for a long-term test and put 1,000 rounds through it before doing my review, but I can tell you right now that if it's reliable I'm going to like it. IF you like the form factor, of course, of a small, single action, hammer-fired gun with a manual safety like this. Many people won't be interested just based on those design choices. The TRP was fine. It's a 10mm 1911 that's decently tuned with a nice trigger, but doesn't really stand out to me in a meaningful way other than the chambering.

Lindsey from Primary Weapons Systems gives us an overview of their new MK212SD .308 rifle. This AR-10 is tuned so it will only run with a silencer / suppressor on the end. With a minimum of gas slamming the action back, it's supposed to have extremely light recoil and is probably quieter and such as well.

What's the difference between the SPHINX SDP Compact & the CZ P-07? Why is the SPHINX $1,295 to the CZ's $510? If you're curious or making a purchasing decision, this [awfully long] video should help.
Write-up on TTAG coming in early August.

*Is this the coolest rifle ever?* We hit the range with the Strasser RS14 to find out. It's hard to beat quick-change barrels in 22 calibers and lots of lengths and profiles, a slick QD scope mount system, a fast and smooth straight-pull action, an insanely easy-to-swap bolt head, INSANE trigger, etc etc etc... Plus, it's just downright pretty.

In this video I take my new Taurus TCP out for a spin. First range trip with it and we put 104 rounds through the little guy. 100% reliability so far, with a GREAT trigger and good accuracy. A very thin, light, concealable gun that's easy to carry anywhere legal while dressed in basically any attire.
My local range has over 10,000 rounds through their rental TCP with NO problems! They rent basically every sub-company / pocket .380 that's on the market and this is the ONLY one that hasn't had a part replaced. The Sig P238 is a close runner up, and the Ruger LCP has only needed a couple of repairs (most notably, the takedown pin is a weak point on this model), which puts it just into third place. The rest of the contenders lag way behind, with most models having made multiple trips to the factory for warranty repair along with being repaired in-house. Little pocket guns just typically aren't made to handle high round counts.
Taurus has a success with this gun. Not only is it reliable and good-to-great in every other way I can think of, but you can find them for between $200 and $250! What a great deal. AND, they're even made in the U.S.
We'll continue to put the TCP through its paces, and it's going to be the test platform for some .380 ammo chronograph and ballistics gel tests that I'm planning on doing this summer.

MechTech makes Carbine Conversion Units for Glocks and 1911s. In this video, we're checking out a 10mm and a .45 ACP Glock C.C.U., built to different specs.

Since the "upper" sets your pistol's caliber, whether GLOCK or most 1911s, and the CCU uses only the frame, you can run lots of calibers with the same frame! For instance, all "small frame" Glocks, which means any Glock in 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 Sig, or .45 GAP, actually use the exact same frame. So if you own a Glock in one of those calibers you can get a CCU in any or all of those calibers! Most 1911s are the same way, and even if you have a .45 you could get a CCU in 9mm, 10mm, .38 Super, .460 Rowland, and others and just use the appropriate magazine. Pretty awesome!
I think a double-stack 9mm 1911 might be the best possible lower to pair with a CCU. High capacity, sub-sonic ammo available for shooting suppressed, really nice trigger, plus a manual safety.
