Paper Mario TTYD: Throwback Pro Mode - Prologue
The start of my newest challenge run!
Throwback Pro Mode is a variant of the Throwback challenge run. In this run, you are only allowed to use items, badges, mechanics, etc. that are shared between 64 and TTYD. The Pro Mode aspect comes in primarily by applying Double Pain on top of that.
In this series, I'll be fighting most of the random battles at least once in order to fully experience Throwback in every fight scenario.
Core Challenge Rules:
-All items, badges, star powers, and moves with the same or equivalent properties may be used.
-This includes Piercing Blow and D-Down Hammer, Earth Tremor and Star Storm, and Bob-Ombast and Mega Bomb, to name a few examples.
-No superguards or stylish commands

In this segment for the community challenge, we start in Petalburg (I accidentally saved without a backup :P), have a successful and safe fight against the Gold Fuzzy, have a not-so successful first fight against Red Bones (Power Jump is a requirement for this challenge - nothing else can hit the back bones that isn't restricted.), and have one failed fight then one successful fight against Hooktail with some clutch superguards.
Oh yeah, for some reason some switches appeared and Koops became bugged while returning towards Hooktail Castle. I restarted the game and it fixed itself. No idea. It didn't affect anything so just ignore it I guess.

**Note: To any observational people, you may notice a Toxic TM in my inventory, and a Toxic on Blissey, which is impossible normally; I was putting movesets on Pokemon with PKHex that I could legitimately obtain to save time (including my one use of Toxic, also including Swords Dance on Garchomp and Weavile (Game Corner TMs), Earthquake on Garchomp (my one use of the TM from Wayward Cave), and Night Slash on Weavile (Heart Scale))
This is also why I have so many Rare Candies, as is the standard with most Nuzlocke runners now, when grinding becomes risk-free after a certain point.
