1000 Cherry Trees in bloom - 赤城山千本桜 (Akagi Senbonzakura.)
1000 Cherry trees on the slopes of Mt. Akagi, overlooking Maebashi city in Gunma, Japan. Once you've experienced Hanami here, the over-hyped Tokyo spots will be put into proper perspective. Not even the glorified storm-water drain in Naka Meguro can come anywhere near the spectacular scale of Akagi Senbonzakura. And as a bonus. It's on one of my favorite high-speed twisty roads in Gunma.

My camera is starting to hold me back back (shooting stills at live shows)... I really need think about upgrading... even though I can't afford the upgrade yet.
