How to Find Real Progress in Difficult Classes
Hey teachers. Sometimes teaching can be discouraging when we don't see the progress that we were hoping to see. We reach the end of the school year, and we're finally finding a connection with the students and we think, "You could have learned so much if you were more like this earlier."

In this video, Jesse shares his idea on finding real progress in the classroom. As a teacher, you're teaching more than the subject you're teaching. When you think about it, doesn't it feel good when you see behavior progress in your students?

That's real growth.

Maybe they didn't learn the grammar you taught or do their homework every time... or ever. But, what growth did you see? That's progress!

Jeff Bartsch of the YouTube channel Story Greenlight calls this THE THING UNDER THE THING.
