Just slapped this together as an intro/countdown page for my live stream.
Leave an opinion if you can. Bare in mind I am not looking for anything high quality. Just need a quick, functional countdown screen that is not alienating.
I'm not Christian, but I have some friends who are. A couple are ministers. My sister is a true believer. They are all big on faith. However, they do not do this. You shouldn't either. Worship from home. You can use Skype or Zoom* to hold prayer circles via your web cam and/or headphone set ups. Follow your God if you have one, but do it in a way which makes sure you are able to keep giving glory unto the highest from this side of the veil.Don't be a Darwin Award Finalists/Western Religious Division
* I have both a Skype and a Zoom account and have used them to be in contact with friends. I do NOT own any shares in them nor am I being given an cash for mentioning them. Another note - if you are a Boomer I'd suggest going with Skype instead of Zoom. The learning curve is not so steep with Skype.
As for any Boomers who would like to argue the point please see the accompanying video - https://youtu.be/dWNvlyycWzQ

While in school, from the primary grades through college, students are supposed to learn American history. But what a student can learn in one hour, three days a week, is ultimately pretty little. What makes this even worse is not what they try and teach you, but the important things they decide not to teach you.
The Bonus March of 1932 is one of those things they didn't teach you.
This march happened in one of the worst years of the Great Depression. The veterans -- some of whom brought their entire families with them to Washington DC -- were not greedy men. On the contrary, they were desperate men, desperate to keep their families fed and alive. Many of these men were unemployed in a time before food stamps and public assistance.
Simply put, if they did not work, they did not eat. And more important to many of them, their families did not eat.
So what bonus were they marching for? Well, as World War I veterans, the United States Government had promised them a bonus of several thousand dollars, payable in 1945. A relative few veterans, being hungry, hopeless and seeing no other possible help in sight, put together this march. As word spread to other veterans across the country, the numbers heading to the Capital grew and grew.

On Tuesday, 02.15.2001, municipal union employees from across the state of Wisconsin converged on Madison, the state's capital, to rally against what they saw as Governor Scott Walker's attacks against their union.
This video is a mashup of that event.
All the people interviewed were from or worked in Kenosha or Kenosha County, where I am also from. Only audio and video sections from the rally, speakers, interviewees and politicians were used to make this video.
Complete copies of Representative Samantha Kerkman's meeting with her constituents and Representative Peter Barca's comments on the Governor's moves and the day's events will be published in other videos.
Please pardon any spelling errors as this video did not have time to make it through an editor's care. My apologies to any people who were somehow misspelled misidentified.
