1 Dolly, 2 Weeks, 3 Cameras, 4000km Drive, 500GB of images. 70 time lapse clips created, 41 used in this video. From September 24th to October 7th, 2013. I spent 2 weeks from Yoho Nation Park, Banff Nation Park, to Jasper National Park. Within this 2 weeks, the different climate give me a lot of challenge to photographing under the different weather conditions. 2 Weeks might be long for a vacation, but seem so little when you trying to capture some decent time-lapse sequences within it. Try get to a good location before sunset, capturing some night clouds or milky way at night, and wake up before the first morning light appear to capture sunrise. But it all depends on the climate. Some of the locations were visited 3 different morning and still failed to capture some good morning lights.
But over all, I'm pretty happy with what I've got over this 2 weeks trip!

Finally find some time to catch up with processing images from this year. Still going through some of the snowy images from my US trip back in February. But while I was looking at all the image that was mostly covered with snow. I feels like I should jump into a more recent trip to the Rockies last month. This panorama was taken and combined with multiple vertical shots in order to capture to entire arc of the milky way just after twilight. And you can see the color blending from nautical twilight on the left into astronomical twilight on the right.
Hope you enjoy it!
Deer Lake is a lake in central Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Deer Lake is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and features a number of walking trails. These trails connect the lake and its surrounding forests and fields. Deer Lake Park offers a nice, flat, and easy walk that circles the lake and passes by a beach area.
Video was captured over different seasons. And personally I think this park look best in Fall. What do you think? :D

Hazy sunset overlooking from Lantau Peak on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The air was covered with a layer of fog making the view of sight not very clear. But I do love those light rays from by the hazy weather.
After hours of solo hiking on this evening at Lantau Peak. The path down just seem like endless, slope after slope and never ends. This was the last shot I took on this evening before I packed up all the gear and just focus going downhill instead of taking photo on the way down.
