BASIC CARD CONTROL tutorial series pilot
Manipulating a cards position in a deck of playing cards is a basic concept in card magic. It´s called card control and many card tricks rely on it. Sleights designed to control a cards position in the deck are generally called card controls. Ever heard about The Pass, The Hermann Pass, The Gravity Half Pass, The Straddle Pass (Mike´s Move), The Venus Trap, the Fan Control (and many more)? However you don´t need to know any of this rather difficult, because timing and angle sensitive, card control sleights in order to perform great card magic. As a matter of fact the basic techniques of controlling a cards position in the deck are quite easy and also stress free! And this is exactly what you are looking for as a beginner or someone, who has been practicing the pass for years now, but never learned how to use it in the first place!
