This is a short video on how to gain access to the air filter in a 2006 through 2014 Suzuki SX4. This specific car is a 2009 Suzuki SX4 Sport, you can see more adventures around this car on my blog at http://beenelife.com/2018/11/16/the-7-issues-i-had-with-buying-a-cheap-suzuki-sx4-including-replacing-a-quarter-window/. Once the two clips on top of the air filter housing next to the firewall are popped off the air filter housing can be lifted upwards freeing it from the engine cover which doubles as an air plenum. The filter housing can then be tilted towards the firewall revealing the air filter. The air filter can be slid towards the passenger side and re-installed in the same manner. No tools required!
While I haven’t replaced the air filter in my Suzuki yet this is an affiliate link to what I’ll buy when I need to.

I feel like things are starting to get a little repetitive but hopefully it's still interesting. I had to take Jacob to the doctor this morning and he has a double ear infection. The good news is that it's almost been a year since his last one! I also worked on some sewing this afternoon. Something that I have been meaning to get to for a while now and it just keeps getting pushed to the back burner. I hope you enjoy!

I slept in this morning which meant that I had to juggle children this morning while I got ready for my day and that is always an adventure. Jacob then had the wonderful idea of going for a walk and it was really brisk and felt like a good fall day. When I went out to check on my chicks I had quite the scare. I couldn't find them anywhere and I thought that a hawk must have come and took them all away. I eventually found them all huddled under a bush but it was just about enough to almost give me a heart attack.

a-new-home-for-our-chicks-vlog
The chicks are out growing their first home and it is time for them to move to a larger space. Christopher built them a new PVC coop for them to move into. Its not actually completed yet but it is completed enough that we could move them on over. Christopher will be adding a floor and a solid roof soon but this is good enough for now. When we have the coop completed all the way we will put together a video of how we built it so that you guys can have some plans if you would like to build one that is similar.
