DJI Customer Support Assessment and Failure I truly hope that this video is not received as a rant rather my hope is that someone at DJI sees this video and realizes they have significant internal problems and takes steps to make the necessary changes that ultimately improves the companies culture and realizes the long term benefits of such a change. As of the time of posting this video I still do not have a functioning phantom 4. I have spent 2 months hoping to get back the functioning drone system that I loved and paid for. In this video I give my assessment of the phantom 4 and DJI Osmo mobile as well as my terrible experiences with their technical support, customer service systems. I loved both units and recommended them highly until a crash after the phantom 4 lost power and crashed. It has been over 2 months and I still do not have a functioning phantom 4 yet. Many promises and assurances were given to me throughout over 40 hours (really) of phone calls without them following through with what they promised. I was amazed with both the phantom 4 and the Osmo mobile. They are great products! However they have not made good on their promises and repaired their defective products as promised. I believe after spending so much time speaking with multiple support personnel, including 3 supervisors, that it fair to state that the company’s culture is unacceptable. Internal communication is poor (i.e. shipping label department separated from support staff), poor documentation of customer communications, and a work environment, mission, values, and ethics that are focused on telling customers what they want to hear and failing to follow through with their promises.
