Another assassination mission is before us, where we must eliminate a Mega Mecha. It takes a little while for it to hit the field, but once it does, hopefully the indirect fire units are ready to start poking it. We are only allowed to build rifles, so we need to take whatever units we can find while making the most out of our starting group. The important thing is that we are allowed to make repairs, so try to keep everyone up and blow that Mega Mecha apart when it looks at you the wrong way. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2kZRNn0pTQ
This brings the route involving the twins to a close as we reach the final game, but are unable to play it. With this out of the way, we now need to gather some clues and then head into the final route of the male route. We're almost half done folks.

On paper, this could be a fairly interesting and fun map. Then when you see what the scoring requirements are here, this one just sucks.
Hawke is largely confined to the land, and you need to make your way over to the one port/harbor he can get and use to start sieging your HQ. Beat him there (especially with a pair of subs), and he is stuck to the land. I opt to use the battleships to thin some of the land forces at first, hiding in the reefs so the cannons don't shoot. Due to how expensive his forces are, he will be getting his powers very quickly, meaning you will have some expensive repair bills between Drake and Kanbei. Once the land forces have been slightly thinned, I opt to send a battleship south to aim for the cannons.
While doing this, Kanbei is on the ground and can pick off the targets that Drake weakens between his battleships and powers. Sadly, Hawke can get some heals through his power, plus it is one of the globals that can nickel and dime Kanbei to death. I do not recommend saving up for expensive units early as the repair bills can be crippling. Just get some cheap units in key locations and serve as a distraction while Drake makes the game winning snipe.
If not for how much these multi-CO maps suck when it comes to rating power score, I wouldn't mind doing them more often. As is, I just want it out of the way so we can move onto the next one.

Sometimes hunts just get derailed...
Anyway, I need Zinogre parts to make pieces of his set for my final Pierce set. Namely, you want to get Weakness Exploit from these, especially since this was recorded before the decorations came out (yes, this is 1 month old). Now that the decorations are out, you can be a lot more flexible, but even now I am still using the chest piece when I Pierce.
If you need the parts, stick to it, otherwise just move onto the next monster to wrap up your end game set.

Returning to the world beyond White Space, we discover that our friends are all gone, and we need to find them. We head off for the Last Resort where we find Kel, who steers up toward Aubrey and Hero. However, in order to get them back, we have to fight our way through some muscle, and an old familiar face while we're at it...

The Sonja missions kick off with Max taking the first one. Sonja will prefer to fight in the fog as her passive gives her increased vision range and her power lets her see through obstacles. This means outside of fog, she is a pretty lackluster CO (usually regarded as worst in the game), and that is before you factor in her bad luck. Later games will give her some additional tools, but she still leaves a lot to be desired here.
As for the mission, you just need to leap frog into cover, and when she is ready to use her power, feel free to just lash out at her as she will see you in hiding anyway. The annoying part is that she stocks on indirects like Grit, so there will usually be terrain stopping you from making a straight line to her. You may need to deduce where her units are through triangulation, and try to stay out of their range, especially on her power turns.

This is a sidequest video, but I believe both of these play a role in unlocking the true ending. The Kings have been a recurring motif through the series, with you having to defeat them for Masakados in Nocturne and I believe they were involved in both Yuzu and Gin's endings in Devil Survivor Overclocked. Here, we receive Masakado's sword, which awakens them from whatever stupor they were induced into and we fight them at their full power. However, at this stage, they are far below where I am and the fight is more of a bloodbath.
Finally, we conclude Khonsu's sidequest where we learn that it is not possible for him to become a Nahobino and intends to sacrifice himself to save his human partner. Isis and his human partner both want him to survive, so we need to talk him down. And when that fails, we resort to force.

Barre and his union have spread across the world and have avoided the health costs of doing so through the use of numerous Biowells. He also rushed the Master Control wonder so he can have an army of workers to build them for him. If we can attack his cities, we can steal a whole host of workers to use for our territory, and maybe we can get lucky enough to seize the Master Control for ourselves...

With the corridor business done, we can return to the main game and we take on Rean's route, sending us into the Black Workshop. The overall vibe of the place has not changed much and there are a few required battles that don't really have much to them. Especially after the corridor, it is a fairly easy place to power through, so we have little trouble working our way there. Our reward are some scenes with some reunions and a strange master quartz...

This part has our last friendly reunion before the crap hits the fan and we are going to have to go head-to-head with one of our friends. Hal is looking into using negative carry against ABS since he can see the flaws, and it is just a matter of time before the powder keg catches fire...
