Since 2015 Avast, AVG and CCleaner have all been giving away Users Internet browsing data to Marketing company Jumpshot, which is owned by Avast. Jumpshot have then been selling the data (which can be de-anonymised) to Google, Microsoft, Amazon and other large retailers.
Jumpshot started life in 2012 as an anti-malware tool. It was then purchased by Avast, rebranded as Avast Cleanup, and then the name was re-used as the marketing arm for Avast.
Five months ago I bought a 2nd generation Nexus 7 2013 tablet, in this video I discuss the good and bad points, and what its been like to use.
The KitKat upgrade happened within a few days of KitKat being released.
The tablet is still quick and responsive, and its small enough to fit in my jeans pocket.
Its major downside is that many apps and websites treat it like a mobile phone sized display, so you end up with a frustratingly cramped view.
Its good, but I should have bought a 10" tablet.

Unboxing, Testing, and Review of Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro CPU Cooler.
Dark Rock Pro is a dual fan CPU cooler suitable for a large verity of AMD and Intel CPUs. It can cool up to a 220W CPU, which allows for quite a large amount of overclocking.
Replacing the stock cooler is a good inexpensive upgrade to do, whilst the stock coolers are able to keep a processor cool they make a lot of noise as the CPU usage increases.
An aftermarket CPU cooler such as the Dark Rock Pro has large fans that run slower and don't get pushed to such high speeds as the smaller stock fans do, which keeps your computer nice and quiet.

Tutorial guide showing two different methods on how to get a borderless effect on the WebCam for Linux Screencasting. Ideal for using in Linux Gaming or Distro Reviews.
FFMpeg code:
ffmpeg -f alsa -i pulse -f video4linux2 -r 30 -s 640x480 -i /dev/video0 -vcodec libx264 -preset ultrafast -crf 16 -acodec libmp3lame -ab 256k -ar 44100 -f mp4 -threads 2 out.mkv
This doesn't seem to work properly with avconv, so I now use GUVCView instead.

A look at the now unmaintained Unity 7 Desktop in Ubuntu 17.10. Most features seem to work, except application icons won’t show in the top-right hand side, and I couldn’t open multiple copies of Nautilus file manager.
Its good to see Global / Local menus and Heads Up Display (HUD) working for both GTK and Qt applications.
$ sudo apt install unity

NoTrack is a network-wide DNS server which blocks Tracking websites from creating cookies or sending tracking pixels.
Here is a look at latest feature I'm implementing – a new Top Level Domain Blocking page.
NoTrack is compatible with Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch based distros.
If you want to use NoTrack on a Raspberry Pi, install a copy of Raspbian Lite, and then use the Install script from Github.
