I put together a similar setup for testing my early DIY nozzles. Since then I adapted it to clean media out of stubborn areas in my cabinets, and to clean silt out of my filter boxes.
Hi All,
Again, apologies for the wait - I didn't get the free time I had hoped over summer.
This video is a quick run down on pumps you can use for your DIY Vapor Blaster. To cover everything would take much too long, so I figured I would put this video up and follow up by answering any question you are left with either by comment, or potentially a follow up video.
Cheers!

Part 2 of the DIY vapor blaster nozzle working as a syphon feed gun. This video shows the same nozzle/gun from part 1 in a different cabinet with different beads. Definitely worked better and I will be trialling a new type of simplified vapor blaster over the summer.
Check out my video on how I made the gun/nozzle.

Just a very quick update,
A very generous friend has lent me his TIG welder for the past couple of years. But the time has come to return it, and I need to make arrangements before I begin the next build.
I recently bought a plasma cutter and got curious as to whether it would work as a TIG too.
Thanks for Watching!

With a bigger air supply on the way, it was time to upgrade the gear for the new cabinet.
Like the last one, this was built on the cheap using what I had around and with an inline strainer I bought from the hardware store.
Correction: The pink nozzles are Pink Alumina, not Sodium Nitrate.
E-book is up and selling now and larger nozzles are proving popular.

Got a moment to begin stripping down the compressor for a refurb and knocked up a basic TIG trolley while the weather was off.

Finally got around to getting another air compressor. The seem to work pretty well in parallel, but I will still replace the older one at some stage soon. The additional air has changed the dynamic of the cabinet/nozzle combo so I have some more development work to do.
I also came across an issue with corrosion where it wouldn't seem to strip black stains off. I plan on doing some testing this week which will form the basis of later videos I am considering doing that helps with trouble shooting.

This video is a quick break down on how I made my own vapor blaster gun.
Please excuse the flickering. I have fluorescent lights in my workshop, and I am not yet to the point where I can justify setting up better lighting.
For anyone who wants to make their own and has questions, leave me a message in the comments and I will do what I can to help out. There are no dimensions in this build as this is a demonstration of what worked for me. This is likely not the only way of doing it so give it a go and if you have trouble getting it to work, leave a comment and I may be able to help.

Vapor Blasters are incredibly helpful tools to have around. Sometimes, dry media has a little more bite to it for removing stubborn coatings or rust.
I used a few parts from stock and the waste bin to put together a pressure feed on the bottom of the cabinet, swap out the gun for a better model, and add a foot pedal.
In order to test the cabinet, I took an old Kawasaki spanner, sandblasted the rust and zinc plated it.
