This clip is a highlight of our time in Moab. The Golden Crack is the culmination of several trails and is a favorite obstacle. It also has one of the best views. If you haven't made it to Moab yet, here is a taste of what your missing.

Finally got the new MST CFXW out and driving, it's running an Axial Racing AE-5 and a Tamiya silver can motor. Tires are Pitbull 1.55 Growlers, which usually are great tires, but on this terrain I felt they were holding back the performance of the RC. The body is a Killerbody Marauder from Asiatees which I don't think is the best body for rock crawling but hey, it looks amazing!

Check out the Killerbodies Marauder body from @asiateeshobbies ! I have always liked the Land Rover Defender so when I saw this I knew I had to have it. Right when you receive it you will notice the size of it, it is closer to 1/8th scale, so it's quite a bit larger than the typical SCX10 sized bodies, closer to the Vaterra Ascender Blazer but a tad bit larger. The cage is well made and has quite a few places to screw various scale items, roof racks, etc. The body seems very durable, it's made out of lexan rather than pvc like some cheaper body companies use. There is also tons of detailing that has gone into this body, you get: front and rear light buckets, hood hinges, windshield wipers, gear shifters, steering wheel, pedals, diamond plated decals fit the floor, metal cargo divider, rubber mud flaps, rear step, and exhaust tip. There's also a snorkel that you can purchase and add to the pre-existing holes on the top of the fender.
Driving the SCX10 with the Marauder body, with the help of the realistic suspension movements thanks to the RC4WD 90mm King Shocks, really adds to the scale realism. I added an Integy 12 led light kit to fill the 12 led light buckets in the body. Eventually the active turn signals and blue lights will be pulled as they detract from the realism.

Had a blast with the Axial Racing SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. It's chassis pretty close to being stock, only modifications that it has are aluminum rear upper and rear lower RC4WD Rock Krawler links, aluminum steering link, and moved the battery upfront. Really you can run this RC in the RTR configuration all day long without issues but, it's a whole lot more fun trying new things with the chassis and seeing how that improves an already rock solid platform!

The KrawlZone team participates in the 2020 Winter 4x4 Jamboree and Mister KrawlZone and Spawn take the KrawlZone YJ out for it's maiden voyage on the off-road trails of Sand Moutain OHV, but before we could reach an obstacle, tragedy struck...
We also review "Nobody's" 1948 Jeepster and after some repairs we head back out to the trail and go wheeling with our friend Justin Mclean from JKS MFG out on a 7 rated trail to find the rig did particularly well.
Also a special thanks to James Adams of Adams Driveshaft for helping us get back on the trail. And Fat Bobs Garage for use of the trailer that got the YJ to the event.

Yes this is an Axial Racing Wraith Spawn! What I did is, swap the AR60 axles for some awesome Boom Racing HD Military Axles because they look like they can take some serious abuse and they are SCX10 width, I also shortened the wheelbase. By doing that I had to re-arrange the electronics placement. I then added the Axial Racing Walker Evans wheels that had the Falken Wildpeak tires in R35 compound. It is also rocking a few Boom Racing aluminum chassis and suspension braces. Vaterra Ascender aluminum 105mm shocks are mounted to said suspension braces and offer leak free smooth travel. To top off the Axial Racing Wraith cage I used a Tamiya FJ Cruiser body which fits the cage like a glove.
