In celebration of the 75th birthday of the Golden Gate Bridge, space scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, installed an art project called Solar Beacon - topping the bridge towers with glittering solar "candles" (mirrors), called heliostats. Here the heliostats are being remotely directed to reflect sunlight towards Berkeley's Sather Tower.
