Stefan Molyneux of Freedomain Radio interviews William Gairdner about his new book "The Trouble with Canada - Still" - http://www.williamgairdner.com A fresh look at the country 20 years after the book that sparked a conservative renewal
Canada suffered a regime-change in the last quarter of the twentieth-century, and is now caught between two irreconcilable styles of government: a top-down collectivism and a bottom-up individualism. In this completely revised update of his best-selling classic, William Gairdner shows how Canada has been damaged through a dangerous love affair with the former. Familiar topics are put under a searing new light, and recent issues such as immigration, diversity, and corruption of the law are confronted head on as Gairdner comes to many startling - and sure to be controversial - conclusions. This book is a bold clarion call to arms for Canada to examine and renew itself ... before it is too late. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYEXpJANjVs

- It's not tangible.
- Relies on electricity and the internet.

On Wednesday February 14th, 2018, a 19-gunman opened fire at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 people and wounding 17 survivors.
In 2011-2012, Broward County Public Schools had 1,056 total student arrests – 71% for misdemeanor offenses. These were the highest overall numbers in the state of Florida.
After concerns over “students of color, students with disabilities and LGBTQ students” being “disproportionately impacted by school-based arrests” – the PROMISE program was created in 2013. Standing for Preventing Recidivism through Opportunities, Mentoring, Interventions, Supports & Education – the PROMISE program was specifically implemented in an effort to "eliminate the school-to-prison pipeline."
After the implementation of the PROMISE program, Broward County Public School arrests dropped from 1,056 students in 2011-2012, to only 392 during the 2015-2016 school year.
Mr. Andrew Pollack is the founder of Children’s Lives and School Safety (CLASS) and the father of 18-year-old daughter Meadow Pollack was tragically killed in the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

Everything you do is philosophical.
You wake in the morning, groan, stretch and open your eyes. What is happening?
Everything that is happening is philosophical.
How do you know you are awake? How do you know it is morning? How do you know your eyes are open? How do you know your dreaming has ended and your day has begun?
How do you know your memories of yesterday – or ten years ago – are valid? How do you even know you are the same person as the one who got into bed last night?
It gets even crazier, when you really think about it.
How do you know that your “experience” is not in fact some elaborate simulation? Do you know for certain that you are not a brain in a tank, wired up to some Matrix-style virtual reality?
Look at your hand right now. You see a hand, sure, but how do you know that the hand truly exists outside of your mind? Sure, you see your hand, but the image only shows up in your mind. It’s the same with your sensations of your hand – they also only show up in your mind. Where is the hand itself?
Last night, in your dreams, you also had hands – or claws, or tentacles, or heaven knows what –that did not exist or move in what you call the “real world.” In your dreams, you visited a floating island full of dragons that does not exist outside your dreamscape – or does it? Perhaps your dreams are the real world, and your “waking” life is the dream. How can you know for certain?
Perhaps the people you live with are mere avatars – artificial intelligence simulations of human beings. Perhaps they were all real people at some point, but have been replaced by space aliens with perfect biological robots. When you went to a movie last night, perhaps the entire cinema complex was a form of elaborate theatre – perhaps you were in a movie, watching a movie.
What if you are created anew every day from scratch, but with a steady if inconsistent series of progressive memories layered into your newly hatched brain?
What about your memory?
Is it real? Recalled events are gone, lost in time; your memory only exists in your mind. What if you or something else is altering it over time?
Think of your very first memory – is it real? Think of other early memories – could they have been created in your mind by stories you heard as a child?
Try this on for size: go and visit your childhood neighbourhood. I guarantee you that it will neither look nor feel exactly as you remember it – and sometim

James O’Keefe and Project Veritas recently released a series of undercover videos with current and former Twitter employees discussing the shadow banning and censorship of accounts displaying certain political and religious affiliations. Stefan Molyneux points out the elephant in the room nobody is talking about regarding these undercover videos and the shocking censorship of white Christian conservatives.

Hey Stef I met you at the Freedom Fest back in…2018ish? You sat with me and gave me some kind words. I was very drunk…BUT I’ve recently become sober with the help of AA?
Do you know about AA basic ideas? If so what do you think?
I have an issue with emotional eating/binging any thoughts on why someone eats that way?
Had a drinking problem before that I kicked
Hey Stef.
After hearing you talk about fatal flaws recently, I've realized mine is Perfectionism.
My perfectionism is crippling, because it causes me to do absolutely nothing if I can't do it "right".
"Perfect is the enemy of the good" is a good description of my issue.
Any thoughts?
Do you increasingly support Christianity primarily because it's a bulwark against communism, even though you prefer that people reach virtue through philosophy instead of religion?
Hi Stef, what are your thoughts on unchosen obligations, specifically the religious obligation to honor thy mother and father. More generally, are unchosen obligations a necessary good for society since that has been suggested in a video I just watched by Jordan Peterson
How do I deal with someone who is very sarcastic, but very humorous and the jokes are about me? I laugh because it's really. So it continues.
Why do our parents have such an emotional hold over us as adults?
I got drunk at a company event the other day and tried to discuss the non-aggression principle, and it went over like a lead balloon. Trying to figure out how to walk that one back even though I was being honest. They want to talk to me about it next week. I feel like I humiliated myself talking to a bunch of NPCs about libertarian philosophy. I avoid alcohol because it makes me a bit too honest when maybe I should hold back on certain topics or be a bit more careful introducing the ideas.
Became a father in December, any advice for taking better care of infants?
Stef, under what reasonable circumstances a man who broke up with a women, should take her back? The fact they broke up in the first place is bad enough but is there any reasonable way it can actually happen and work out? Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for the clarification between love and honor. It's an important nuance that I didn't see. What about other unchosen obligations, such as our obligations to the state. How do we distinguish between unchosen obligations that are beneficial to society and those that aren't.
Did any people in your extended family have a positive influence on your childhood? I’m an Aunt and I want to be a positive influence for my niece.
When you fall of the tracks and get lost in chaos, do you have a way of pulling yourself back together? A good method of centering yourself?
Do you have personal preferences to help create a universal safety net that encourages hard work that doesn't violate the NAP?
My mother used to beat me frequently and my father was distant, 20 years later our relationship is kind of cold, i find it hard to smile around them and show happiness, they treat me good now but that past is still there, its hard for me to open up and tell them about it, why wont parents initiate such conversations? i see it is very common that the child always needs to initiate instead of the parents.
How's the book editing going Stef?
Some say we should forgive the COVIDIANS who pushed vax mandates and lockdowns. I say no forgiveness unless they seriously apologize, and then maybe.
I feel like I have an obligation to help toward my mother, as she seems powerless/stucki in her relationship to my fahter. Def resonate with the current topic.
Stef why did your father abandon you with mother? Was he afraid of your mother and just ran away?
Do you think the trauma of World War 1 and World War 2 was the primary explanation but not justification for dysfunction in the boomer generation?
How do we manage our instincts towards obligations? For example men feel obligated to protect women and women feel obligated to nurture life. Do positive obligations have an evolutionary root? Or are some of them branded into our psyche by our culture and these are the ones we should reject.
I was baffled at the response to not go outside and exercise in order to quarantine
Why do you think anti homeschoolers use socialize in public schools as a con for homeschooling?
Aren't mega corporations just proxy extensions of government power these days? And consequently we are left with essentially a new branded version of communism?
