Ever since the release of a Vanity Fair article more than a year and a half ago, many fans were worried that Denis Villeneuve’s Dune would head down the same path as Star Wars, Doctor Who and more recently, Masters of The Universe: Revelation, and sacrifice the source material on the altar of contemporary values. By now though, some early reviews are out, and if they are to believed, the movie does stay true to its source material.
