Welcome to another installment of the Beginner’s Guide series on The Broham Nation! In our last video, we went over the basic essentials every tester should know to get started. In this video, we will be taking a look at the new Quest System in Escape From Tarkov. This won’t be a video on the location of each quest, so please know that now, I’m sure this will get me some dislikes, lol but I can accept that. As a part of the RPG element, Escape From Tarkov includes a system of quests, or missions from in game traders. It is still unclear whether there will be player/clan made quests, but until there is a 100% definitive answer, we can only hope at this point. Quests are one of the key features that have created more of the dynamic that we will see in the release version of Escape From Tarkov. Currently, there are over 30 quests for starters and I would venture a guess to say, that if there were more, we might uncover some spicy details and theories. Now I will note, there is a portion of the community and Content Creators that ask, “What exactly is the story behind Escape From Tarkov”? Quests will eventually become small pieces of that overall puzzle, with story mode being the biggest reveal. Now, let’s get into it. ACCEPTING QUESTS Accepting quests is not especially difficult, just go to one of the three traders who have them. Currently, Prapor, The Therapist, and Skier are the only traders with quests for you. Rewards for completion of quests, offer various things like money, items, exp and most important, REPUTATION!. Quests range from removal of Scav infestation and PMC opposition, to the acquisition of sensitive document storage drives and personal items. The quests serve to give us a peek at the larger picture of Tarkov and an understanding of the roles each of the traders serve in that picture. Through the quests, you will also get a feel for the remaining citizens of Tarkov and their struggle for survival, as you help to restore precious water sources, supplies and freedom from their local oppressors. As you know by now, you have had the option to decide what faction you pledge your allegiance to, but until now that was merely clicking a button on screen. As we move forward toward the actual game, we can start to indulge in the Role-Play by taking into consideration the choices we make, with quests. ? Want CHEAP Games? First off, we have 4 traders at the moment, which are as follows, Prapor Elvira Fence Pusher Each trader specializes in certain gear, and while all will buy most things from you, it will be at a lower price, depending on what you're selling, and your loyalty level. i.e. how much you have spent with each one respectively. Let's go over them now, one by one: Prapor: He sells guns, ammo, grenades, magazines, mods, and nvg's At Loyalty Level 2 he will sell you the VSS Vintorez, and AS VAL. At Level 3, you can purchase the SV98 He offers the best prices on guns, ammo, grenades, magazines, mods, and weapon parts. Therapist Elvira sells: Meds, drinks, food, maps, and keys, for which she offers the best price. At Loyal Level 2 you can pusrchase the Salewa complete med kit, and at 3, she sells Pineapple Juice Fence: Basically Fence will buy almost everything, and trade items like nuts and bolts for grenades. As you level up with him, he will give you cheaper rates, but he will always buy your items at a much cheaper price. Pusher: Pusher sells Armor, containers, bags, mods, nvgs, and tactical rigs. At Loyalty Level 2 SVS, and Tri-Zip Camelback Backpacks, and at level 3 Fort Defender Armor, along with scopes and tactical devices. He offers the best prices when you sell him NVG's, Backpacks, Suppressors, Optics, Armor, and Tactical Vests The interface is easy. Buy opens the Trader's showcase of items for purchase, to sell, click the sell tab. When selling items, you can drag them over to the sell window, or simply hold down ctrl, and click. If you find that you dont want to sell the items, then click the blue clear table bar and all items return to your stash. If you would like to remove single items, right click to return them to inventory. If you are selling things like ammo, hold down ctrl, click and drag stack to enter in the amount you would like and then add it to the deal. speaking of deal, when ready to purchase, click Deal to complete. Here is the amount of funds the Trader has available to make purchases, this is your current discount if any. this is the timer that displays how much time until Trader restocks items, and funds. This section is your available funds, and standing, depending on the Traders. These amounts are what you have available in Euro, US Dollar, and Roubles. Here, we see your Level with the Trader, player level, Reputation, and amount Spent. These are the stats needed to reach the next level. The player level, reputation, and amount that needs to be spent. The total amount spent includes what you have sold as well.
