Featured talks were "Big Data and Autonomous Flying Vehicles" by Claire Tomlin, "Big Data and Security" by David Wagner and "Big Data and Machine Learning" by Michael Jordan.
The James Patterson McBaine Honors Competition is BerkeleyLaw's venerable moot court competition and is open to all Boalt second- and third-year law students. Cases chosen for the competition involve cutting-edge issues of great public importance. This year, we are proud to welcome Justice Sonia Sotomayor of the United States Supreme Court, Judge William Fletcher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and Justice Carol Corrigan of the California Supreme Court as our panel for the final round.
