We are told that there is a spectrum we can use to judge someone by: We are told that people are on a spectrum of Empathy or Psychopathy. Why your false projection of love on to the borderline or NPD keeps you trapped in the cycle of rejection and hoovering. You project on to the borderline that they love you when they do not have any truly profound feelings for you. If you can become honest that the feelings you "sense" from the borderline are nowhere near as deep as you hope, you will be able to separate and heal.
