Hitting the range with the tack driving 455 Tacticool from CZ. The "Suppressor-Ready" version has a 1/2x28 threaded barrel from the factory. This is a top quality, bolt action .22 LR.

Range time with Tech Smith's Gear Head Works Tailhook Brace Adapter and an angled forward grip (AFG) for the B&T TP9 (brace also works on the USW). They really bring this gun up to a whole new level!

Hey, I mean, compared to the $7,500 Field Pistol, the $1,650 FK BRNO PSD is a screaming deal! It's a really nice gun for the price, too. It's a beast of a hand cannon that's ideally suited to handgun hunting, but it's too large and impractical for anything else other than as a range toy, and perhaps that's why FK BRNO went BK. Sweet! A threaded barrel for a classic pistol. Now you can shoot your Browning Hi-Power (BHP) with a suppressor thanks to two new threaded barrel options from Lone Wolf.

This was awesome! Iguana hunting has been on my "list" for five or so years, and TW from Tropical Trophies made it happen. It was fun hunting that required extremely precise shots, and the meat is pretty dang good! TW donates all of the meat that he doesn't eat, which is awesome. Highly recommended if you're in the general area around Palm Beach!

Hitting the range with Q's compact .30 caliber suppressors, the QD Trash Panda and the direct thread Half Nelson to pick a favorite. These all titanium cans are extremely lightweight and, thanks in part to their larger-than-usual 1.75" diameter, very quiet for their length.

Range time with the Innovative Arms M&P 15-22 Integral, which is an insanely quiet integrally-suppressed Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 .22 LR rifle. Full review coming to TTAG shortly!

Taurus PT 738 Review Here: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/05/daniel-zimmerman/gun-review-taurus-738-tcp/
I put 106 rounds through the Cobra CA380 -- http://www.cobrapistols.net/product-freedom-series-ca.asp -- and am happy to report that it works! Most of the time. Not the most reliable pistol I've shot but far from the worst. I'm going to polish the feed ramp and that should help with feeding, but I think the primary cause of stoppages has been ejection related. The extractor may need some 'tuning,' but I think the design of having it right on top pulling the case up and out the top isn't the best idea, really... working against gravity and such. The gun DID work 100% held sideways gangsta style haha
Hey, EVERYBODY has a right to self defense and it has nothing to do with your budget. Attempted bans on "Saturday Night Specials" are nothing more than class warfare, saying that poor people cannot be trusted with or allowed to have firearms. If you need to protect your home or family and you want a pistol for that purpose, the Cobra here is the cheapest one on the market and it won't blow up in your face. I would recommend shooting *at least* four or five magazines worth through it to make sure it's functioning properly and you know how to use it before trusting it on any level for defensive purposes (normally that recommendation would be much higher, but we're assuming you're on a super tight budget here). It's heavy for its size, poorly finished, and ugly as sin but it works.
BUT... again... I think the Taurus PT 738 TCP is *THE* best .380 mouse gun on the market at any price. And it's $199. If you're on a tight budget but can save up and get the Taurus instead of the ~$105 Cobra, do it. If you have more money than you know what to do with and want a micro .380, I *still* recommend the Taurus. Compared to the Cobra, it weighs HALF as much (10.2 oz), is smaller and sleeker, is totally reliable with basically any ammo, holds one more round, has an amazing trigger, and is MUCH more pleasant to shoot.
