2019-07-13 40th Street Summer Series Song: Jingolo Ba
The 40th Street Summer Series is a beloved concert and dance series that happens once a month, May through September (though shortened to June-August this year). These events are promoted heavily by University City District and Penn. https://www.universitycity.org/40th-street-summer-series.
This musical selection is called, "Jingolo Ba", another favorite brought to us by Babatunde Olatunji from his Album, Drums Of Passion. Baba Olatunji came to the US in the 60's and he taught many the African percussion rhythms and songs and West African traditions from his homeland Nigeria. The 60's and 70's were a poignant time for African Americans, identifying with their African heritage gave them a sense of pride, wearing the African garments was effective in creating a fashion yet political statement. VOA as an organization , has been around some 25 years. We have traveled the continental expanse of the USA; appeared in Canada, Jamaica, London, Hawaii, and Ghana. VOA started out as a children's ensemble. VOA has now become an "African Cultural Arts Collective" that works with a variety of committed African Cultural Artist from around the Diaspora. Many of these artists are actively involved in the arts through dance, singing or drumming and lend their time to VOA to give it the professionalism, style and power that comes from well seasoned artists in the field. VOA is exploring its expansion and enjoying the new faces; the new energy; the new excitement and has over the past year been demonstrating this to our audiences nationwide. And while we are not primarily an All Women's Ensemble anymore, we are able to gather up enough women to do a presentation when that is requested. VOA shares the power and joy of its music, which spans the African Diaspora, through traditional African and African American songs, message music, gospel, inspirational and healing percussion rhythms.

A Single Lie Discovered Is Enough To Create Doubt In Every Truth Expressed.
This always amazed me, why does one lie have so much weight over many truths?
It is quite curious.
And it happens all the time, especially in relationships.
Are we humans so distrusting that it takes only a single lie to destroy all the trust we ever had in a person or situation?
Or does it go deeper than that?
Do we not trust from the beginning and only need one lie to fulfill the prophesy that someone is gonna deceive us.
Or is it the fact that when we are children growing up, we learn about the lies our parents told us from the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, and the Easter bunny, and so forth.
Do we as children, come to realize that we cannot trust anyone, not even our own parents?

In these videos I will discuss the readings I received using the I Ching (Yi Jing) when I inquired about Donald Trump and his relationship with the Shadow government AKA Deep State. It took countless hours to put these videos together for you to view.
Working with the I Ching (Yi Jing) is a process that requires focus and contemplation. In these videos I give you a synopsis of what was revealed to me, and I hope that you can glean the most important points. I tried to be brief as possible without missing the main points and indicators. Working with the I Ching (Yi Jing) is serious business.
Understanding the attention span of most folks in the YouTube audience, it was very, very challenging making 5 minute videos to cover this subject comprehensively. Not to mention, that doing this process not even my computer wanted to process the entire 49 min video so it crashed, mid stream and I had to go back and make 3 shorter ones. But you will not get the full gist of what I am trying to convey unless you watch all 3.
So, put on your headset, take a walk, do some household chores, go to the gym, or whatever you can do to pass the time and watch/listen to all 3.

I left my commentary under the video as well but I wanted to bring some things forward, as it were, especially since this has become a hot button issue over the past few days since the debate. The amount of diatribe over the debate has become nauseating as far as I am concerned, because it seems people are seriously missing the point. This series of videos will be to explain in depth what a "Life Path Reading" is. It has been commonly termed by some as "Incarnation Objective."
A Life Path Reading is essentially one of the most important readings that can be done. It is similar to an astrology reading only I use the I Ching. It helps to determine what challenges, triumphs, skills, talents, and deficits an individual may have.
While some folks deeply believe in re-incarnation, my belief is that we have come here for a specific purpose and not necessarily to work out all that we didn't work out in the past incarnation, that we can barely remember, btw. Imagine going to school to take a test that you barely remember studying for?

Let me add here, that there are still various cultural indicators surrounding the birth of a child that can still be seen in practice today.
Many of them have religious rituals and ceremonies attached to them and can be observed in the form of Naming Ceremonies, Christening, Confirmations, and even circumcision as a type of Rites of Passage, or entry of the child into the Physical world. Names are often given to represent a relative, saint (deity) or historical figure.
Again, without getting a Life Path reading then it is possible that the name does not depict the actual path of the child. On the other hand, when a reading is done, it can determine more succinctly the direction the soul is traveling and thus gives the individual a strong guage to measure his/her progress as they mature.
