Should we avoid some movies? No matter what the movie you can find positive aspects if you are in alignment first. If you are alignment and see a movie that might scare someone else, you may notice the cinematography, or how great an actor is, or appreciate how comfortable the theater is and how great the script is at scaring folks (the intent of the movie). But if you go into any movie in a so-so mood looking to be uplifted you may be disappointed, not because there are not things to appreciate, but because you become fixated on the negative aspects because you weren't in alignment first. At that point, you're looking for conditions in order to feel better, rather than being an unconditional appreciator of the arts. The point is find alignment and then go to the movies, don't expect the movies to help you get into alignment.
