What is Reassembly?
Modular spaceship building game
Build your entire ship out of pieces, LEGO style. Thruster placement and mass distribution define the dynamics of your ship, so different designs feel very different to fly. Block by block destruction encourages you to build redundant systems and protect your most vital parts. Automatic ship repair and a user friendly designer with features like copy & paste and undo allows complex designs with minimal effort.
Beautiful, emergent ecosystem
Procedurally generated open living world full of many different types of AI spaceships, space stations, and synthetic plants, each intent on self perpetuation. Take advantage of impromptu battles between rival factions to recover objectives, or run away after your opponent calls in reinforcements. AI ships can retreat if overwhelmed, scavenge for resources, investigate disturbances, self repair, reproduce, and generally behave as artificial lifeforms rather than target dummies.
Destructive combat
Wield a wide variety of projectile and beam weapons, missiles, rockets and torpedoes, deployable drones, and more against your enemies. Defend yourself with shields, armor, point defense systems, and pure maneuverability. Combat is a mix of skill, tactics, and preparation – an expertly piloted fighter can take down an enemy fleet, but having a well balanced arsenal helps.
StoneHearth Gamplay (Alpha 13) - Episode 7 - Back from holidays and ready to begin occupying the underground lair. First, we can place our smithy, and with that comes the race to master the technology of all the trades!
With the newest significant addition to StoneHearth now released, let's take a closer look at Rayya's Children, a new playable Hearthling faction. As well as new character appearances, there is also a new desert region and even new starter rules for the game. Super cool!

What is StoneHearth?
Stonehearth is a game about exploration and survival in an epic fantasy setting. Your job is to help a small group of settlers survive and carve out a place for themselves in a hostile land. You’ll need to establish a food supply, build shelter, defend your people, and find a way to grow and expand, facing challenges at every step.
Starting from procedurally generated terrain with dynamic AI encounters, Stonehearth combines city sim and good old combat with infinite building possibilities. It’s designed to be moddable at every level, from your city to the people and creatures inhabiting the world, and will ship with the tools and documentation for you to add your own customizations to the game, and share them with friends.
Build and Grow Your City
The heart of the game is city building and management. When you're just starting out, you'll need to juggle tasks like obtaining a sustainable food supply, building shelter, and defending your fledgling settlement from raiders and other threats.
Once you've achieved a foothold in the world, it's up to you to write the destiny for your people. You have the flexibility to choose your own path in this game. Do you want to build a great conquering empire? A vibrant trade city? A spiritual monastery? We really want you to feel like this is your settlement, and give you the tools that make it look and operate exactly as you wish.
Level Up Your Settlers
All the settlers in your towns have jobs. A job is like a class in a role playing game. Each job has a specific role like hauling materials, building, crafting, and fighting. As your hearthlings work at a job they will gain experience and levels. Some jobs, when they meet certain prerequisites, can upgrade to entirely new jobs with new capabilities.
Usually, to assign someone a new job you'll also need to craft a tool for them. The Mason can craft blocks, statues, and tools from stone, but to do it he'll need a mallet and chisel crafted by the carpenter. Our goal is to have a job tree that's both very wide and very deep, so there will be plenty of different kinds of things to do in the game, but also a lot of depth to explore if you want to concentrate on any one area.
Epic Boss Fights!
As your town becomes more wealthy and prosperous, you risk attracting the attention of one of the world's Titans, epic boss monsters looking to protect their turf, or just to plunder your riches. Each boss will have a unique lore and set of abilities used to lay waste to your city. (The Titans are hanging back during Early Access... but they're coming.)
Player Driven Legacy Through Modding
We LOVE mods and want to make it as easy as possible to author and share mods.
Want to see a new kind of sword in the game? You can model it, define its stats, and then craft it in game. You can also share the design with other players so they can enjoy it too, or bring their authored content into your game.
As a modder you’ll be able to do basically anything that we as developers can do: introduce new items and monsters, write new scripted adventures, influence the AI, you name it. It goes back to that original pen and paper RPG experience, where “the game” is a collaboration between the core ruleset and the stories crafted by the gamemaster.

What is The Long Journey Home?
Lead Your Crew: Pick 4 out of 10 possible characters, from astronaut Kirsten to expert pilot Malcolm. Harness their unique skills and personalities to uncover the mysteries of the universe, salvaging lost wrecks, raiding ancient tombs, and investigating alien artifacts.
Real Flying: Flying in space is a bit complicated…really, we looked it up. “The Long Journey Home” provides a flying experience with actual planetary gravity, which can be difficult to master but can also be used to your advantage. Flying in Long Journey Home is a bit different than in many other space games. Be careful not to be sucked into a black hole or outmaneuvered by an alien warship!
Lost in Translation: Meet and try and befriend fifteen strange alien races – four empires out of eight, plus assorted smaller civilizations in every game. Will they appreciate you approaching with raised shields as a sign of respect, or see it as an aggressive display? Can you win their respect, and with it, their assistance? With over two novels worth of dialogue, you’ll feel part of a living universe full of memorable characters and big decisions.
Weigh Your Options: Players have to land on planets in order to gather resources. By doing so, you always risk damaging the landing unit or even losing a crew member. Be sure to carefully consider the risks involved in every reward. Andreas Suika notes that “‘The Long Journey Home’ is about making the right decisions. When you alone are in space, there is no room for wasteful choices. It’s important to remember: always think twice and once you’ve made a decision, be ready to deal with the consequences.”
Procedural, not Random: Although most of the game is procedurally generated, there are no random aspects in it. For example, dialogues with aliens may vary in different playthroughs but the lore behind each race is very much consistent. Quests or reactions might change, but their core attitude and character always stays the same.
Same Game, Different Journey: Thanks to the variety of the key elements of the game, the experience can be very different with every new run. Players can expect to see about 20% of the possible content in one run which should only take about 6 – 8 hours.

What is Orcish Inn?
Farming
A typical orc's day starts with checking the farm. How well do the plants, how the animals? For raising high quality crops, you have to keep an eye on the ground's wetness and eutrophy as well as on the windbreak and the overall plant density. Some plants require wet land, others don't want to be surrounded by other crops.
Crafting
Harvested crops are then used to bake bread or to brew beer. The beer production and its foregoing malt and wort production let you decide how the beer tastes, how strong it is and more.
Building
Creating your inn is an architect's job, because you aren't fobbed with pre-built houses. Instead, you create your very own inn tile by tile, wall by wall. A bunch of decoration awaits you, because every room has its own comfort level and you better satisfy the coming orcs!
Serving
At dusk, these visitors arrive and stay for a beer. Or two. That's your chance to get some profit out of your efforts and to reinvest it in new seeds. The hawker is a flying vendor who sells and buys stuff (and he's a bit crazy, so be prepared!).
Amusement
Beyond your hard farm and tavern work, mini games and other kind of amusement are lined up, including all sort of quests and your hunt for fishes in the orcish swamps. But don't forget to stay satiated and warm. If weather and seasons bring you and your business to their knees, the nature has (mostly) everything you need—you just have to search and explore!
Orcish Inn is planned for 2015 (Windows) and with a successful Greenlight campaign, for Steam. Mac and Linux is something I will check after release. I also plan to release some modding tools, at least a map and quest editor. Supported languages: English and German (definitely) and Spanish (likely). I will check out the Steam Workshop program and try to integrate as many Steam features I can (achievements, as an example).
Rimworld Alpha 16 Gameplay ► Episode 16 - We have left the safety of ChillVille and are finally on our way towards the escape ship that should free us from our planetary prison. Perhaps we will have some better luck in this new colony?
We are back once again with an attempt to colonize a hostile environment with our two, soon to be, cybernetic beings. Cold and unwelcoming, this first location may just be a stopping point before we pick up and move to a more hospitable location.
If you would like to be a colonist, you know the drill! Let me know what name you would like me to use in the comments below. Preference will be given to early commenters and those that have not been chosen in the past.

What is Rimworld?
A sci fi colony sim driven by an intelligent AI storyteller.
RimWorld follows three survivors from a crashed space liner as they build a colony on a frontier world at the rim of the galaxy.
Inspired by the space western vibe of Firefly, the deep simulation of Dwarf Fortress, and the epic scale of Dune and Warhammer 40,000.
Manage colonists' moods, needs, thoughts, individual wounds, and illnesses. Engage in deeply-simulated small-team gunplay. Fashion structures, weapons, and apparel from metal, wood, stone, cloth, or exotic, futuristic materials. Fight pirate raiders, hostile tribes, rampaging animals and ancient killing machines. Discover a new generated world each time you play. Build colonies in biomes ranging from desert to jungle to tundra, each with unique flora and fauna. Manage and develop colonists with unique backstories, traits, and skills. Learn to play this deep game smoothly and naturally with our intelligent, reactive AI tutor.
For Windows, Mac, Linux. The game is distributed by DRM-free download. RimWorld is being created by Tynan Sylvester and Ludeon Studios. 9498 people pledged $268,132 on the RimWorld Kickstarter.
The AI Storyteller
I've always thought the best part of games like Dwarf Fortress and The Sims was the stories that come out of them. That's why RimWorld is designed as a story generator. It's not about winning and losing - it's about the drama, tragedy, and comedy that goes on in your colony.
To keep things interesting, the game creates events like pirate raids, trader arrivals, and storms. But these events aren't random. RimWorld uses an AI Storyteller (modeled after the AI Director from Left 4 Dead) who analyzes your situation and decides which event she thinks will make the best story. There are several storytellers to choose from:
• Cassandra Classic aims to create a rising curve of tension over the course of the game. Early on, the most dangerous thing she'll do is send a psychotic squirrel after you. Later on, bands of scavengers will arrive. In the late game, look forward to combined-arms attacks from mercenaries mixed with lightning storms and crop blights. If you want a traditional tension and difficulty curve, go with Cassandra.
• Phoebe Friendly is for the player who just wants to build and watch a colony grow. She'll occasionally create minor disasters, but nothing that would threaten the existence of the colony. If you want a more relaxing game about growth and success, choose Phoebe.
• Randy Random follows no rules. He may give you some amazing stroke of luck, like a trader selling an advanced weapon for a low price or a group of helpful immigrants, followed by a near-unbeatable pirate attack combined with an electrical fire. If you think losing is fun, you might want to try Randy.
And we're considering other AI Storytellers, too. High population storytellers, starvation storytellers, seasonal storytellers, moody storytellers, and anything the community thinks up are all on the table.

Space Pirates and Zombies 2 Game play ► We've save all our pennies (expect for that one that was actually just an old arcade token that we tried to use at a different arcade only to discover that no other place in the world will take this stupid thing, so I went back to the original arcade only to discover that they now only take those card things for the machines. Not impressed). Oh yeah, we bought a Starbase!
Join me as we fly solo into a doomed universe as the infected count down their final battle to claim humanity for good.

What is SPAZ 2:
In SPAZ 2 you must survive in an evolving post apocalyptic Galaxy. The zombie threat is defeated, infrastructure has collapsed, fuel is scarce, and scavenging means survival.
Initially the Galaxy contains hundreds of fleets, each trying to survive. AI captains can do everything the player can. The player is not special and is not the center of the Galaxy.
As resource scarcity becomes critical, ships come into conflict just to survive. Factions may form for protection or split due to starvation. Old friends must become fodder.
Stronger factions establish and defend territories, set up resource hubs, and establish star bases. Weaker factions may resort to banditry. Each captain is unique, persistent, and shapes the Galaxy.
When factions meet, combat is usually the result. While the strategic side of SPAZ 2 is about exploration, territorial control, and faction building, the action side of SPAZ 2 is about ship construction, tactics, and salvage.
Combat creates damaged ships and dead crew, but it also provides new salvaged parts. All the parts in SPAZ 2 are modular and randomly generated. If you see something you like, break it off an enemy, grab it with your tractor beam, and connect it to your ship. Ship construction can be done live during battles, though sometimes beating an enemy to death with their broken wing is also fun.
Back on the star map, battles will attract other captains looking for salvage. Take your new parts and run. Upgrade, repair, and prepare to fight another day, for darker threats are about to emerge.
Features:
Two hundred persistent Captains that are able to do everything the player can, including forming dynamic factions, building structures, controlling territory, and going to War.
A true living galaxy that is not player centric. It will develop differently each game through the interactions of the agents.
Time based galactic story events that happen whether the player is ready or not. These events add new threats and tools to deal with them. The Galaxy will need to find a new natural equilibrium each time a new disaster is unleashed.
Randomly generated modular parts. Build the mothership that suits your play style, on the fly, in seconds. Every part has its own unique stats that contribute to the mothership. Every part has its own hull integrity and damage states. Every part is a real, working, ship component.
Strategic ship building. The mass, location and shape of parts all matter. If a part blocks a turret, it will not fire. If a ship is too long, it will turn slowly. Too many engines will mean too little power for weapons. Every design choice counts.
A fully physics based 3d environment where everything is destructible, takes damage from impacts, can be grabbed and even thrown at enemies with the tractor beam.
Natural movement and controls. Movement is on a 2d plane and screen relative, much like an FPS. The combat feels like huge pirate ships battling on an ocean. Focus on tactical positioning and manage system power to unleash hell at the right moment.
Epic ship to ship battles. Tear the enemy apart piece by piece over minutes, instead of seconds.
