He met a curious young woman named Iroha. He acquired the key item "Rhapsody in White", which allows summoning up to four Alter Egos at once and reduces the price of fast-travel with Home Points and Survival Guides, among other things. Heorot also learned Trust: Curilla in San d'Oria and Trust: Nanaa Mihgo in Windurst, which become available at Rank 3. Now, he will work on the first Rank 3 mission in Bastok. Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He heads outside to the Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 0:41): By the gate, Heorot donates a crystal to Crying Wind at H-9 for some rank points. Then, he talks to Rashid. He takes on Mission 3-1: "The Four Musketeers". He must help the Mythril Musketeers attack the Quadav stronghold, Beadeaux, in the Pashhow Marshlands. The first step is to talk to Iron Eater at the President's Office. Heorot fast-travels to the Metalworks. Metalworks (time 3:09): Just inside the President's Office, Heorot talks to Iron Eater at J-8. The first time, Iron Eater talks about the Trust Initiative. However, Heorot's rank is not high enough to recruit his Alter Ego yet. The second time, a scene takes place. Heorot agrees to go to the mission briefing. Volker and Ayame describe the operation. The task is to defeat twenty Copper Quadav inside Beadeaux. Heorot will rendezvous with Ayame and Naji at Beadeaux. After the briefing, Heorot teleports to the Bastok Markets. Bastok Markets (time 7:27): Heorot visits the map merchant, Karine at H-9. He picks up the Map of Beadeaux for 3,000 gil. Then, Heorot teleports to the Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 8:59): In the Bastok Mines, Heorot sells off some excess Silver Beastcoins. Then, he heads to his Mog House. Mog House (time 10:19): At home, Heorot manages his inventory. He changes jobs to Level 26 Red Mage with White Mage as support job. When he is ready, he sets out again. Bastok Mines (time 11:59): Heorot uses the Survival Guide to teleport to the Konschtat Highlands in the Zulkheim region. Konschtat Highlands (time 13:14): Heorot arrives at the Survival Guide near the exit to Valkurm Dunes in the northwest of Konschtat Highlands. The exit to the Pashhow Marshlands is in the northeast. Near the Telepoint on the north side of the Crag of Dem, Heorot finds Plaiaude at J-6. Plaiaude offers chocobo rental services. Heorot rents a chocobo. He has earned a total of 98 Job Points as Red Mage. In this video, he will do some more Job Point grinding as Red Mage in Escha - Ru'Aun. Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a Merit Point upgrade. In his delivery box, he receives gil for a Fire Cluster and two Plutons that sold at auction. Many thanks to the buyers! I wonder if that one buyer realized how much he spent. Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:41): At the auction house, Heorot puts a Light Cluster and two more Plutons up for sale. Afterwards, he teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 3:20): Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to enter Escha - Ru'Aun. Escha - Ru'Aun (time 4:00): Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he hunts some more Eschan Il'aern in this zone. A holiday event is boosting experience, limit, and capacity points earned. Heorot accrues 2 Job Points for an overall total of 100 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 4 Job Points. When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 1:06:02): Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 at G-5 to teleport to Port Jeuno. Port Jeuno (time 1:06:37): Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage. Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets. Bastok Markets (time 1:08:21): Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11. Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:09:47): Heorot checks the auction house to see if any of his items have sold, but nothing has. Next, he teleports to Port Bastok. Port Bastok (time 1:10:50): Heorot throws out his old Facility Ring. He visits the Greeter Moogle at J-12 and spends 1,000 login points on a new Facility Ring. Then, he enters the residential area. The Outer Worlds is rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language. Previously, they explored and investigated the Purpleberry Orchards in the southwest of the Eridanos Atmospheric Complex. For the main quest "A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry", they searched for traces of Halcyon Helen. The next step is to investigate the RR&DD Labs. For the faction quest "Faithful to Thee, Rizzo's, in Our Fashion", they investigated suspected sabotage throughout the Orchards. Now, the party will start by investigating the RR&DD Labs for "A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry". They will also do a couple of optional quests in the Orchards and explore the Puzzlehedges. Eridanos: The party resumes in front of the Rizzo's Research & Development District Labs in the Purpleberry Orchards. They unlock the door with the RR&DD Labs Security Access Card and head inside. RR&DD Labs (time 1:30): The party starts on floor 2/2 of the Rizzo's Research & Development District Labs. As they step forward, they hear from the labs' boss, Dr. Blossom. This concludes the objective to enter Rizzo's RR&DD Labs for "A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry". The next objective is to speak with Dr. Blossom. First, the party checks out the lobby. They view the messages on the terminal. They also view recent appointments with Hack 65. The party goes to the second room and turns west. They use the intercom to talk to Dr. Blossom. She is willing to provide information about Halcyon Helen if the party deals with her maddened lab techs. With a Persuade 65 option, the party convinces her to unlock the supply closets downstairs. This concludes the objective to speak with Dr. Blossom for "A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry". The next objective is to deal with the frenzied Rizzo's employees. In the northeast corner of this room, the party finds the "Rizzo's First Product!" display. In the hall to the east, the party finds an Employee Notifications Terminal with a few messages. They ride the eastern elevator down to floor 1/2. They west go across the hall to the furnace room. In a room to the north, they find the "Sulfur-Soaked Top Hat". Back in the hallway, the party turns north. They find a few Hosts to take care of. This updates "A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry". The party turns west at the next hallway and finds the Marketing Research Lab terminal. It has some lab notes and messages to read. It is part of Real Rendashia's Land of Overlapping Destinies storyline. The party carried out Quest 226: "In a Faerie Tale Village" and met Airi, granddaughter of the late author of the Zankrone tales. Curiously, the Zankrone tales seem an accurate account of the events in Fake Melsandy. Now, the party will continue the story quest line in Real Melsandy with Quests 227 and 228. Real Melsandy Village (time 0:30): The party resumes in the church in Real Melsandy Village. At D-4/E-4, Berka has story info. The party enters the Faerie Tale Writer's House at D-2. On the ground floor, they talk to Lude. Lude issues Quest 227: "Rabbit Chase", the second quest in the "Story of a Hero and a Girl" quest line. It seems Airi has run off after a giant rabbit - or giant rabbits; number is not always clear in Japanese. Naturally, Lude wants the party to find the girl. The first objective is to gather information in town. At G-5 near the bank, the party talks to Letty, the purple-haired girl. It seems Airi was pursuing the giant rabbit(s) to the Real Sun-Dappled Clearing. There is a cave called the Rabbani Hole there, which is cause for concern. So, the Rabbani Hole in the Real Sun-Dappled Clearing is the party's next destination. The party prepares Fura and Raguas with wands for an upcoming boss battle. Then, they Zoom to the Real Sun-Dappled Clearing destination in the Real Melsandy Granaries. Real Melsandy Granaries (time 9:59): The party enters the Real Sun-Dappled Clearing (真のこもれびの広場) at B-4/C-4. Real Sun-Dappled Clearing (time 10:19): The party starts at E-3 in the north. Unlike in Fake Rendashia, the well here cannot be entered. In the south, the party enters the Rabbani Hole (ラバニの穴) at D-8. Rabbani Hole (time 11:39): The party starts at D-1 in the north. Spooky. Looks like a good place for Halloween. The quest destination is about halfway through the cave. However, the party finds a Gate of Trials blocking the door at E-2. They prepare for battle and enter the gate. The party enters battle against the Bunicorn Queen (ブラバニクイーン) and a mix of vile vegetables: an Awebergine (メランザーナ), a Woebergine (ナスビナーラ), a Haunted Tomato (おばけトマト), and an Ornery Onion (オニオーン). The Bunicorn Queen acts twice per round. She can deal a lot of damage to the entire party with Kazap and Gold Rush. She can also boost her tension. Her BBQ Stinger ability deals double physical damage to a target. However, the vile vegetables can inflict a few status ailments. The eggplants can make party members dance. The onions can inflict dazzle and can also lower party members' attack power and magic attack. Since the enemies enjoy using status ailments, using "Snap, Crackle, Poof" is good preparation. The vile vegetables should be carved up for a salad first before the party makes the Bunicorn Queen their main course. The Ornery Onion on the right end will fall very quickly. Keep the party healed in case of Kazap or Gold Rush. At the end of the battle, the Bunicorn Queen and company provide a base of ca. 10,000 experience points and 2,200 gold. After returning to the Rabbani Hole, the party continues through the door at E-2. At E-3, a red chest in a dead end contains 1,200 gold. At F-4/G-4 in the east, a red chest contains 3 Strong Antidotes (上どくけしそう). The nearby door leading north is locked. In a dead end at D-3/E-3, a red chest contains 5 Wakerobins (めざめの花). As the party turns south at D-4, a scene takes place. They have found not only Airi but also Butty and Jammy, the mischievous rabbits they met at the Fake Melun Watermill. What could they be doing here in Real Rendashia? The next objective is to follow Airi out of the cave. The party cannot go deeper into the cave right now.
